"AN all-age hip-hop event erupted into a violent brawl between 50 youths and men who pelted bricks and rocks at police, security guards and a Moonee Valley youth worker.

A dancefloor fight between African teenagers at the Flemington Community Centre is believed to have sparked the melee on November 3.

The New Scool Rulez event was organised by Moonee Valley and Maribyrnong councils and Multicultural Arts Victoria (MAV). Three security guards from New Breed Security who tried to break up the fight were attacked.

One received a broken jaw, another minor head injuries and a third was savagely kicked on the ground. He is recovering from severe bruising and a black eye."
