In your own experience is there a pattern in how you relate to certain star signs? For instance I usually like Cancerians.

Really got nothing to do with the 'stars' and their formation.
Let alone if you are a Lion, Pig, Wallaby or a bowl of petunias.

It's really like the 'time' of the year you were born,  in regards to 'seasonal' effects. Just like a seed planted in one part of the year will grow differently to the same seed planted in another part of the year.
You could really narrow it down to Autumn, Winter, Spring and Summer people.
Environment plays a role too.
People in cold regions would be more 'indoorsy' type people,
compared to people in hotter regions who would be more 'outdoorsy'.

That's how stupid 'all' the Zodiac stuff is, be it European, Chinese or the less well marketed Zanzibar Signs.
