Due to your aggressive, deceptive controlling actions here you have proven exactly what sort of a belief you have.

By threatening legal action, banning people for the "wrong" avatar and deleting posts at your whim, you have comprehensively shown your nonassimmilation to our australian culture.

I didn't threaten legal action. In fact i specifically said i don't think it's the right course of action. If you want to address me, address me, as I am not half of a binary being called abu-malik.

I wasn't aware banning for avatars and deleting posts is considered an Australian value.. perhaps you'd better tell Johnny, because he forgot to add that one into the citizenship test "I solemnly swear never to ban anyone because of their offensive avatar, nor to delete their posts that break the rules of the Islam forum".

I see you're still your same old illogical self sprint.

What was wrong with my post?

Title: Re: Thanks abu and malik

lestat - i deleted it for a number of reasons.

1/ It was unspiritual.

2/ From past experience, discussing anything with you is pointless

3/ I dislike those that worship paedophiles.

4/ You are too short

Depending on how I feel about your avatar (or lack of) I might well ban you.

1/ It was very spiritual. I guess given you have no response you had to remove it. Thats ok...I understand.

2/ Thats funny...cause I've never actually discussed anything with you. Correct me if I'm wrong...you could ofcourse provide an example of these 'imaginary' discussions between us.

3/ This coming from a denomination who's clergy has made an art form out of playing with little boys...hilarious.

4/I'm to short. Gee thats a good one. :)

And err...I have no avatar.

So thanks for letting us know that you have no other reason then to stifle free speach. Well done for highlighting your hypocricy.

From past experience hey. Oh I get it now...considering that I have never conversed with SprintCyclist...and his self-imposed ban actually began before I registered with this site (FD can easily verify this), the only logical conclusion is that our friend SprintCyclist has been in fact posting under a different alias.

Sorry Sprint...err, I mean Jordan, you have been EXPOSED!

FD, you can easily verify this by logging his IP, but from his 'slip of the tongue', its quite clear that Sprint has been posting under a false alias.

Rather cowardly really....

Well done abu.

More deleting and locking of threads.
Good to see we agree why islamics are so uptight.
Try a bit of freedom, instead of trying to make everyone else serfs

You are giving everyone here a sterling example of islamic censorship.

Imagine this under an islamic rule. We'ld ALL be beheaded well before now.

Title: Re: Thanks abu and malik
Post by Gaybriel on Oct 9th, 2008 at 11:59pm
why do you take abu as being representative of the muslim community?

you're dealing with one bloke on an internet forum- surely you don't think he reflects the beliefs and behaviours of all muslims?

Title: Re: Thanks abu and malik
Post by sprintcyclist on Oct 10th, 2008 at 12:03am
yes, i absolutely do.
he is here as a representative of the islam society.
he has been given an islam forum to moderate as he sees fit.

Course I don't think all 1.3 billion muslims are like him.
we'ld all be dead.

Title: Re: Thanks abu and malik
Post by Gaybriel on Oct 10th, 2008 at 12:08am
yes but who appointed him a representative of the australian muslim community?

he is here off his own bat- not sent by some muslim delegation

I think it's silly to draw large conclusions from the statements of one individual- same as if you did it with a christian or a catholic- I've met some crazy christians and some great ones (like my best friend  :))- but I don't suppose that I could take their own beliefs and actions as reflective of the global 'community' they belong to

Title: Re: Thanks abu and malik
Post by sprintcyclist on Oct 10th, 2008 at 12:16am
he was offered the forum as a muslim and he accepted.
his personality is exactly the same as malik who was a muslim mod here.
Also very similar to other muslim mods I have met in other chat rooms.

they are intolerant, aggressive, narrowminded, dominating, "deceptive", sexist, argumentative and abusive.

I think you'd find that describes a lot of mods actually- not just muslim ones

I don't see how his acceptance of a muslim forum makes him reflective of other muslims though.

I could create a forum about australian women with brown hair who have green hand bags- but even if I happened to be similar to other women on it- I doubt you cold draw large conclusions from it

and again- 1.3 billion muslims- are you're referring to what...10? and again- mods are usually more aggressive cause they can be/have to be, and often people are more aggressive on the internet than they are in real life

Title: Re: Thanks abu and malik
Post by sprintcyclist on Oct 10th, 2008 at 1:00am
no, mods are moderate, in themselves.
they encourage discussion.
malok and abu were invited as a muslims to be  mods.

immediately they started to ban people for having the wrong avatar, delete posts, lock threads.

That's typical classic behaviour amongst sects and muslim mods

Title: Re: Thanks abu and malik
Post by abu_rashid on Oct 10th, 2008 at 1:27am

The forum guidelines for the Islamic forum are clear, fair and simple sprint.

If you can't follow them, then don't post there, plain and simple.

Posts have been deleted today, because people have been posting a high number of threads about sexual deviancy. If you wanna see that kinda stuff, go and make a sexual deviancy forum and discuss it there, I don't think it's too much to ask, not to flood the Islamic forum with that crass innuendo.

Immediately threads were locked? Yesterday was probably the first time any threads were locked (apart from the guidelines of course).

Sprint, why don't you be honest about the moderation here, and admit how you deleted Lestat's post in your forum because he quoted Bible passages you didn't like in the "Favourite Bible quotes" thread? Or how easel actually falsified Lestat's posts to say stuff he never said? Or how he banned (albeit quite shortly, as some forummers pointed out the hypocrisy of it) me out of revenge?

In the Islamic forum we have guidelines, and we don't moderate for anything other than breaches of those guidelines. We don't moderate based on personal grievances and disputes, can you honestly say the same?

freediver - quite right. I mean they exhibit very similar traits.

abu - I gave the reasons for his deleting.
After the oppresive threatening dominating attitude and actions of the islam thread mods, I decided to not accept yopur intolerance.

I also encourage any spiritual posting and aceept antichristian posts.
Whereas the islamics here show no such freedom of thought/belief.

No you didn't...you liar. My post had no personal insults, and was in topic,  and despite the fact that it was the longest post in the thread....you made some pathetically ridiculous statement about my post being to short, only after I requested time and time again an explanation.

Even our pathetic forum owner refused to get this deleted post back for me...so that I could post it on another thread..made some sorry excuse that he could not find the post, despite the fact that I asked him on the very same day that it was deleted.

If you really had any balls you'd re-instate my post, but we both know that you won't, because you are a hypocrite, and you will delete any post that you don't approve of.

So go on...how bout you re-instate my 'favorite Bible Quotes' post....and let others read it and make up their own opinions?

Why don't you show us all how you 'encourage anti-Christian' posts.

where is the love, the love, the love..

btw I would hardly describe this a muslim love in! just because it doesn't tolerate islam bashing? would you feel better if everyone was saying disgusting things about islam and allowing no room for reasoned debate?

I think if things are phrased respectively, and not put up just to stir the pot, then you'd find a different reaction.

you reap what you sow.

if you want to muslim bash there are plenty of forums you can do it on- like storm front for example

if you actually wan tto be educated- maybe ask some questions without the presumption you know the answer and without the determination that nothing that others can say will change your mind

Mantra,

Your defence of FD is admirable, but the reality is that when I asked him to retrieve my deleted post, he actually retrieved for me another post which was deleted by Sprint on the very same day and posted to me in pm.

When I told him that this is not the post that I was talking about, he did not respond.

If he was able to retrieve one post that was deleted by sprint that day, I cannot see why he could not retrieve the post that he very well knew I was talking about, as I provided him with a detailed description.

I suspect that the 'I'll scratch your back if you scratch mine' old boys club that exists here had a bit to do with FD not finding the post that I requested. I guess that Sprint's grovelling to athiests is paying off I guess.

Of course the fact that fd is completely supportive of the insults and abuse directed at muslim posters on this forum, whilst warning myself of 'crossing the line' is rather reflective of where he stands on these issues. I half suspect that he is more then happy to have this forum totally dedicated to insults and attacks on Islam.

As I said..the fish rots at the head....

lestat - the last reason I gave was not that your post was too short.
It was that YOU are too short !!
it was a joke, and a thought you had small mans syndrome.

from memory, the reasons were :-  off topic, unspiritual and abusive.

how does it feel to be treated as muslims treat us infidels ??

i also recall asking abu repeatedly to be my lawyer in the "ozpolitic mooting". for a laugh and I thought he'ld make a good rep for me.
He did not want to join in the fun/game.
I have also invited those of other spirituality to put their input in to various threads in the spiritual forum.
To which I get no response from muslims.
I assume cause they are unspiritual, so have nothing to say.

lestat - I could not find your posting I deleted.
had a look, but no idea where to find it, if I can.

if your posts mean so much to you,  perhaps you should keep a copy of any offtopic, abusive, unspiritual posts you post them .

have a good weekend

Seriously Lestat - you have it wrong.  FD is usually always fair - but if I ran a forum this size - I would get sick of complaints and probably ignore a lot of them.  I've done my share of whinging here in the past and not had a response.

It's only a guess of course - but it looks like Sprintcyclist is just teasing you and you shouldn't take it too seriously.  Moderating a forum is a horrible job - you want to set standards - and then everyone has a go at you.  I only lasted 24 hours when I moderated a board here once - I was persecuted so much.

If you see someone post abuse, please let me know. I can no longer keep up wth everything that is posted here, so if you don't report it, I'm not going to do anything about it. If you don't report it, don't complain later that I didn't do anything about it. Don't assume that you know what is and isn't acceptable here, but if you engage me on it rather than making empty accusations of hypocrisy you will figure it out pretty quickly.
