Yeh they're all listed after 2001. I guess before that they were just nice friendly charities, even freedom fighters, helping us to destroy the evil commies... It's quite ironic, because I don't think any of them significantly changed their ideology, beliefs or practises after 2001... Something else changed I guess. Some went from being the recipients of weapons and funds, to being the recipients of bombs and threats.... Quite strange that. Or outright hypocritical if you ask me. Anyway, note that Hamas (yes the Qassam brigades are, but they're not really a part of Hamas, they're an independant organisation) isn't listed there, so you probably should stop calling them terrorists in other threads. Besides, just for the record, PKK isn't Islamic, if that was your conclusion. They are Communists. Also don't you find it strange groups like Kach, ETA, FARC, real-IRA etc. aren't there? Perhaps cos they're not relevant to us... not that more than half of those groups are either. |

Well we all know about Muslim charities and all that money sent back home to help fight the good fight don't we. ;D
Did you say Muslims cant be communists? So no Kurds are Muslim? |

Isn't communism anti religion?

As easel pointed out, Communism has it's own religion (atheism), therefore it's pretty much impossible to be a communist and a Muslim. Quote:
If all Kurds were Communists this question might make a little sense... however they are not, and it therefore does not. |

1/ Don't believe everything Abu says or take it on face value.
2/ It's a bit more complicated than assuming all versions of communism or in this case socialism is anti-religion. 3/ do your own research and see what you come up with. |

you pick one group out of 18 and run some strange pathetic attempt at a smokescreen in order to deflect. Now we all know that's what you do Abu... but it aint gonna work. |

Absence of belief is not a belief. Atheism is not a religion. You find a hole in the road one morning. It wasnt there the night before. You say to me 'There is a hole in the road this morning. It is a sign from the One True Papa Smurf God.' I say 'No, it's just a hole in the road. I dont beleive in the One True Papa Smurf God.' You say "Aha - Your religion is the Denial Of the Papa Smurf God.' No - it's just, an absence of belief, it's nothing. It doesnt make it a religion. |
