Title: Political Assassinations Post by easel on Jan 23rd, 2009 at 2:37am
How come this country doesn't have political assassinations? It happens everywhere else, even the UK and USA, but not here, or if it does, maybe it is covered up too well.
I mean, there are plenty of politicians who go around openly and deliberately destroying freedom and what used to be known as the Australian way of life, yet they aren't stopped. People whinge and complain, and do nothing else. This is probably a good thing, I suppose, that laid back Australian attitude, especially if you are an evil person vying for power and control over the population. In a perfect world politicians would be getting killed left, right and centre, as in, from all political orientations, not politicians getting killed everywhere. Lucky for some we don't live in a perfect world, and evil too often gets to triumph over good, due to our collective apathy. |

Title: Re: Political Assassinations Post by sprintcyclist on Jan 23rd, 2009 at 8:23am maybe we don't have enough density of population to generate the enclaves and societies to assassainate people ? Maybe we are not important enough to warrant it? |

So you think we'd end up with better politicians if more of them were killed?
