yes, I see gross overpopulation as being the worlds big/only problem.

Suppose the population was cut to 1/3 of what it is now and capped there.
All the big issues would be solved.

Probably should start with reducing global immigration. We all know the sad story of disastrous environmental impact of rabbits and cane toads but are too shy to notice that some cultures of "breeders" are just as dangerous for our ecology.
