Tallow there will be no political witch hunt.  People will keep on arguing the way they always have .  Quite a few of us have known Mozzaok through another forum for a while.  Yes he can be a little direct in his comments, but then you can be as well.  Have you ever thought of the impact of your words on Abu or Muslims in general?

Let's just try and work together on this to attract some old members back and maybe bring in some new ones.  Mozzaok is only a moderator in case of an emergency.

The reason it won't happen is that you are not an "innocent" victim, no matter whether you think you are or not, the fact that you have always resorted to abusing people when you are frustrated, usually you attack Helian, because their replies fly straight over your head, and sometimes , when you fail to follow a discussion properly, or just get frustrated, so because you have indulged in name calling others, I will not be apologising for doing the same to you.

I would prefer that others don't have a go at Tallo, on my behalf,  but just post as they normally would, and hopefully he will eventually go back to trying to just post sensibly, about issues that concern him.

Pretty soon, this place will be a sewing circle like Ocean's Forum where there are few people, (four) all having the same point of view, like helian, Mantra, Oceans and Skippy, where all they do is discuss other Forums, like this one.

(Locutius and Mozzaok think exactly alike also.  It would have been better, in my humble opinion, if there was one on the right and one on the left, for balance.)

Ozpolitic has been quieter than this before.  Dozens of people left when the place went through the Muslim phase and it wasn't because of Abu.

It will resurrect itself - it has before.  Helian is right - there has been a major dummy spit, which is fine because most of us do it at times, but there is always the option for them to come back.

What does it matter?  FD likes Mozzaok and wanted someone sensible to moderate in his absence. He also wanted someone who sat in the middle when it came to controversial topics or violent threats obviously.  

No- one voted for Locutius but FD chose him because of his balanced views.

Of course some of us pushed for Mozzaok - big deal. I've seen you push for one or two people to moderate on PA who annoyed the hell out of me - but I accepted it as did the others on the forum.

You may have a valid point aussie, my judgement could be bad, I have performed one action as mod, I removed the thread that Easel made on your board, which you locked immediately you saw it.

I reinforced your decision, and that must certainly bring my judgement and fairness into serious question.

So, as I said, that is it so far, that single removal of a single post, which was Easel again fantasising about how he would like to see certain people die.

Thank you for being so considerate Aussie - it is appreciated.  The D's had a couple of days to trace the IP number and copy the contents of that particular post.  They told me to commend you for your diligence and astuteness in locking and isolating the thread so quickly.  It saved them a lot of hard work in sorting through miscellaneous IP's that would have resulted from predictable responses to that particular post. You did your job well.  :)

If information is personal or important, you should use email, regardless of what forum it is.

I don't have any issues with it, but then I neither post to other political boards nor use the same password for any other service.

The chances of people accessing your PMs is more likely by someone you know well or has received considerable knowledge of you and tried some passwords to access your account (social engineering).  It is the most common form of "cracking" (not hacking).

If there is a person or people you likely suspect did it, it probably was one of them.  I would recommend changing the password to your email that you have registered to this forum with and your password for you account here.

As for the rest of this thread, I have just read it in full and it is quite enlightening.

I have changed my password now Senexx, but the password I used previously was issued from this site and was comprised of numbers and a couple of letters - which I have never used before on any forum. I find it hard to understand how anyone could "crack" the password as I couldn't even remember it and had to often look it up if I needed it to change something in my profile.

If they had access to your email account they could get it that way.

A few people know my email account, but when my account logs in automatically on my computer - surely this automatic log in wouldn't work on someone else's computer?

If you had made a decent post rather than just visit to call people names - I wouldn't have had to delete it. I want people to feel safe from name calling. Some people just don't like it - including me. I want to run an adult board with some standards. I'm not lowering mine, so those who have the ability to post on a similar level are encouraged. For some people it's too difficult though unfortunately.

Nothing is “blossoming” Mozzaok – Beowulf and I are just used to each other as I am used to you and others and I don’t remember any great enmity towards each other. You have read it wrong.

Well nobody hacks posts mantra, but IQSRLOW repeated in a PM to me that I then posted on a forum for all to see, a conversation that I'd had with monk in a PM 4 hours before.
AS I've been saying for days, IQSRLOW has somehow got a hold of my former password, as I was stupid and used that password on every forum I use it would have been very easy for him to look at PMs and my email address on any of those forums, are you really so stupid that you don't get that? or is it just because you are covering for your chum?
In fact IQSRLOW denies it was him, he suggests it was BEOWULF who hacked into my account, which one of your boyfriends was it mantra?

Anyone who uses personal info is a total jerk, and should be banned from any forum.
