The climate change alarmists are pushing sooo hard at the moment and trying to have legislation passed etc for one very good reason.

The climate is cooling...

If they get the changes in place and cooling continues they can claim climate victory and we'll all be slugged extra  uneccessarily, and not be any the wiser.

If however things are delayed and the climate continues to cool on its own regardless of the CO2 emissions, then hey...  someone is going to have egg on their face.
