I deleted one of your posts from the joke page Imp, but I did not want to draw attention to the subject matter, so did nothing to highlight the fact.

So that is one, and unless you lost the rest from th Islam board, then I do not know what would have happened to them.
Board mods can remove posts from their own boards, but apart from Islam that is very rare.

The video was great though Mozzaok, admit it.

It's worst fault, amongst themyriad of faults that made up the totality of it, was that it was not in the least bit funny, or clever.

Some of the greatest, and funniest jokes I have ever heard have been intrinsically racist, and if I thought the vid had any merit at all as humour, I would have left it, but I am sorry to say it didn't.

No I deleted it because it was grossly offensive, but if it had had any merit as humour, I would have left it up for people to decide for themselves, as it would have had humour as at least one redeeming feature.
It had not a moment of humour in it.
I have seen people laugh about how hystericalluy funny it was when they set the homeless man asleep in the park on fire, and the humour in this was of equivalent worth to that revolting parody you posted.

If people with such perverse ideas of right and wrong seek to justify their wrongs by making light of them, I offer no aplogies for not buying into their petty self justification.

About two posts of mine have gone missing (not counting that one). That isn't the only problem I've pointed out, the other being that 'Karzai' topic somehow being duplicated into about four or five different forums. The point of this topic is to ask whether or not something is going wrong here; I don't care at all if Mozzaok is deleting my posts, but rather am curious whether the board software is stuffing up. I couldn't care less if he sees it fit to remove posts because they contain some perceived equivalency of actual people being physically harmed to a bunch of idiots dancing around to some purposely moronic rap parody. You guys make the rules, not me.

So I guess we can leave it here, the karzai post was just reposted on two other boards, because people know they are limited what they can say on the Islam board, and they wanted to say, F Islam, or something like that.

I removed one post from joke time because it was not funny, but just offensive, and if you lost two more, then in all likelihood it would have been from the Islam board for disrespecting Islam, or Allah or using a swear word, really the list goes on quite a bit on why posts are not allowed on the Islam board, which shows why tallo and karnal wanted to move the Karzai one.

So I think we can safely say the forum does not have any lurking ghosts in the machine, and all move on.

Moderation here is pretty reasonable, with the exception of the Islam board due mainly to Abu's acts of petulant infancy which I suspect might be common among adult-age converts to Islam.

What are you talking about? Freediver ultimately makes the rules here, and whatever he doesn't want posted is thus within his jurisdiction to delete. I have always accepted this to be the case. But even despite that, you would expect that any administrator of any message-board would be in opposition to a moderator deleting posts solely because they didn't find them funny. I made that comment because I was going on Mozzaok's previous post, where he was attempting to create the impression that he removed it because he didn't find it funny. It would seem reasonable to assume that any administator of any message board would think that a moderator deleting posts for such a silly reason would not be a right thing to do. Mozzaok properly clarified (as I wanted him to) in the next post and said that he deleted it because it was offensive. That's perfectly fine and I would assume that it would be within the powers of a moderator to delete something for that reason. Hence why I don't care (though I wouldn't really care if he was allowed to remove things because he didn't find them funny either, though it would be pretty odd).

I knew he removed it was because it was offensive to begin with, but Mozzaok looked like he was trying to justify it solely on the basis of its humorous content. So I chided him on it. I'm not pontificating on free-speech here; I understand the fundamentals of this concept. This is Freediver's dominion and whatever he wants goes. That had little relevancy to the reason I made this thread to begin with, but now that everything has been explained I am satisified.

You leave those threads right where they are. Karzai threatening to join the Taliban is a very important issue, and one that should be debated on a number of levels.

Someone should post in it hunting and fishing.

It should be everywhere. Abu Rashid would be like Mickey Mouse from Fantasia with the hatchet and the Karzai thread as the constantly replicating brooms.
