Look, if they were really serious about it they would just lop the whole wedding tackle off, so the fact that they do not shows a distinct lack of conviction for their claimed goal.
The problems of nocturnal emissions is ever present for these poor mongrels who are taught that their natural sexuality is a satanic lure, which plays havoc with their mental health. In the words of the classics, It just aint natural. |

I don't think there is any relationship between celibacy and abuse. I'm sure there were studies that showed that incidence of abuse between Catholic priests and Protestant ministers were around the same. School teachers were a bit lower. I think pedophiles actively seek work where they will be around young children. Of course, gaining professional recognition as a teacher is much more difficult, hence the lower rate.

You're a classic Mozz :D
(Oy, did you watch Dead bang yet?) Celibacy and sexual abuse are not linked at least one does not cause the other. Many people choose to be celibate (apart from Priests) and we don't have a global epidemic of sexual abuse due to it. |

How about a global demand for tissues and lube? |

What are the stats on sexual abuse and/or lube 'n tissue abuse among Buddhist monks?
Either they are celibate and serene or their abuses are still suppressed. |

I think the abuses are still suppressed, but I don't think celibacy has anything to do with it. |

I know, the pope should just direct the clergy to not use condoms.
That has worked really well in stopping people in africa having sex. |

Mozz, we covered this stupid excuse already. You don't actually believe that these randy fvckers ignore the church when it comes to its teaching on adultery but religiously toe the line about condoms? |

I have always found it silly that people attempt to attribute the problem of out-of-control-birth-rates entirely to the Catholic church's stance on artifical contraception and not testosterone-fueled prurience.
African males can't keep their dicks in their pants. They have the lowest average age rates of first time sexual intercourse, the highest intercourse frequency rates, and even more interestingly, Africans tend to have the highest twinning-rates per 1000 births; at around 16 to Asians (the lowest), at 4. There's some weird sh*t going on there. Soren is right; if Catholic doctrine is really getting through to them on condoms, then why is it not getting through to them on adultery and rape? |

Misplaced irony. I'm ironic about the trandy fvckers. That's the well-placed irony. ;) |
