Title: Gillard FAILED leadership test Post by Maqqa on Dec 19th, 2010 at 3:27pm
In a time when this great nation need a strong and competent leader to stand up and take charge - we have Gillard the Communist busily trying to form a committee.
This weak backstabbing woman has failed the Australian people again! http://au.news.yahoo.com/latest/a/-/latest/8535513/opposition-missed-a-good-offer-bowen/ The coalition has rejected a "good offer" by failing to join the standing group on the Christmas Island boat accident, Immigration Minister Chris Bowen says. Thirty people, including 13 men, nine women, four children and four babies, perished when their wooden boat struck rocks and broke apart in heavy seas early on Wednesday morning. Prime Minister Julia Gillard last week flagged she wanted to set up a parliamentary group of government, opposition, Australian Greens and independent members to receive reports from relevant agencies involved in managing the tragedy. On Sunday, Opposition Leader Tony Abbott said he would not be a part of the group. "It's a matter for Mr Abbott as to how he chooses to get his briefings," Mr Bowen told reporters in Sydney on Sunday. "It was a good offer made in good faith, some people may be surprised that he has rejected that offer but it is entirely a matter for him and I'm not critical of him for it." Mr Bowen said Mr Abbott's suggestion to re-open the Nauru detention centre was not possible. "The Liberal Party insists on the line that there is a detention centre ready and waiting in Nauru - there is not," he said. "The detention centre in Nauru closed, half of it is a school, other parts of it have been dismantled and moved around the island, some of it is government offices." He said Mr Abbott had gone back to the "stop the boats" slogan and Labor's policy would continue to be breaking the people smuggler business through an international solution. Although the search for survivors from Wednesday's crash has been called off, federal police continue looking for bodies. Mr Bowen said it has not been possible to determine how many people were aboard the boat when it crashed. |

Ah yet another “committee”…….why, because Gillard and her mob are incapable of solving any problems without milking more fertile minds, or is it to spread any blame around when things go wrong so the Gillard Government can save face?
Will there be a website as well? |

Just start another program, which will fail before it even gets going just like all the other programs, but can call this one GillardWatch.
I'm sure the narissistic Julia Gillard would quickly approve of this. |

Seriously, we are seeing the last days of Julia Gillard.
As Julia Gillard is on record as saying that she has denied any knowledge of past boat people deaths, that is prior to the tragedy at Christmas Island She claims no information was available of any deaths of boat people. She claims she has had no briefing. no advice, nothing on any deaths. Julia Gillard's response to the Christmas Island tragedy is a pathetic despicable excuse of we cannot monitor all of our coastline 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Now if Julia Gillard is found to have been officially given advice of the deaths prior to Christmas Island, that is the 170 deaths that have occurred then Bye Bye Julia. Oh and Andrew Bolt himself has advised Julia Gillard. Julia Gillard does have blood on her hands and is a dead woman walking. |
