Leichardt Greens councillor Alan Cinis on bond for cannabis

A SYDNEY Greens councillor has been placed on an 18-month good behaviour bond for cannabis offences.

Leichhardt councillor Alan Cinis, a television actor who has appeared in Blue Heelers and Home and Away, was put on the bond in Balmain Local Court on Wednesday.

The 50-year-old pleaded guilty to possessing 40 grammes of cannabis leaf and to cultivating six prohibited plants.

Two other charges against him were withdrawn.

Grass Root Democracy means grass root democracy.

Unlike the faceless men of factional Labor and Liberal who choose the party members .

Greens are a party that reflects current Australian life because they are real people from real life situations.

Hands up if you have never used an illegal substance in your life.
