Yes. Dams are a bad idea. I'm pretty sure you'll find that's a pretty consistent theme amongst environmentalists over the last 30 years ::)

This is heavily dependent on the amount of vegetation being washed in.
Does the calculation take into account what would happen to the vegetation if the dam were not there? |
