Ukraine's nationalists protest Jewish pilgrimage

Police have detained about 100 activists of Ukraine's nationalist party who protested the annual pilgrimage of Hasidic Jews in southern Ukraine.

About 300 supporters of the nationalist party Svoboda, or Liberty, demanded that Hasid Jews not be allowed to gather in the town of Uman, about 125 miles (200 kilometers) south of the capital.

Close to 30,000 Hasidic Jews from around the world are expected in Uman this week to celebrate Rosh Hoshana at the grave of Rabbi Nachman of Bratslav, who died in 1810.

The protesters shouted "Ukraine for Ukrainians" at Sunday's rally.

You have an unhealthy obsession with Muslims Soren . Better see a psychiatrist about that.

Rather than warming anyone's heart Soren, I think Falah is just trying (as I've done on numerous occasions) to highlight that when you promote and encourage hatemongers (as you and others in the West routinely do), they might not just stop at attacking Muslims, as you'd like them to, they'll continue attacking anything perceived as foreign.

You just can't get past the opportunity to take a cheapshot at Muslims yet again, to be able to take this on board can you?

In my view, a sharia-compliant, ummah-mongering Salafist like you speaking for tolerance of anything no-Salafist is like a dog walking on its hind legs -  a trick achieved as a result of rigorous training contrary to the dog's nature.

You just can't be straight and honest. You want a world ruled by sharia. But under sharia, all your current freedoms that allow you to agitate for it would be illegal and some even  punishable by death.

Do you not see the irony of associating Judaism with the Law when Jews habitually violate their own law? Go to Israel and see if they follow their laws on:

Are you saying that EVERY Muslim lives exactly by the standards of Islam??

The point, of course, is that as a Jew or a Christian, you have standards to live up to.
As a Muslim, you just have to wage jihad. That's the only standard you have to lower yourself to. War in the name of Allah. That trumps everything else.
