Its official, an Israeli scientist discovers the impossible.

Discovery of 'impossible' chemical structure wins Nobel prize for Israeli

The free imagination of this Israeli allowed him to conceive of, and to discover, something, a structure in nature, which others said was impossible.

Is this trait [a willingness to seek for truth] in [many] Jews, why disproportionately Jewish people [culturally, intellectually, technologically] have achieved so much in the world ?

He stated on this mornings ABC radio program that he had suffered from years and years of ridicule from his peers who did not share in his beleif, only to finally end up leading a research team to finally make his discovery.
Who's laughing now.

So what's the scorecard now Yadda, Israeli Nobel prize winners vs
the Palestinian Nobel prize winners? :)

You realise Islamic scholars came up with many discoveries that helped form the basis of modern scientific inquiry, don't you?

It's a pity it isn't as important to them as it once was.

Not relating to science, but an example of the shamelessness of false moslem claims...

According to moslems, today, the historic account of a 'Jewish' temple in Jerusalem, was myth, a lie, 'made up', fabricated, by Jews.

Those temples were moslem temples.

And the ISLAMIC evidence for such claims ???

They, moslems, say it is so.

And moslems would never, ever, lie!!

If you seek the truth then turn your bullshit detector on when the topic is Islam.

I disagree that muslims have contributed "significantly" to knowledge, what has been invented by muslims since electricity was discovered, they would literally be still in the dark if it wasnt for the enlightened west.

Your wiki list contains so many errors i could be here all day correcting them.

There is a Persian scholar Razi in that list who was an atheist he wrote a few books on religion.
A little bit on Razi from the Pakistani atheists and agnostics should leave no doubt on whether Razi thought Islam was a load of horse manure or true-
http://www.e-paa.org/articles/freethinkers-history-muhammad-ibn-zakariya-al-razi

The first guy on the list was muslim yet his stuff comes from a Indian after the muslims conquered India this wiki article explains how his great works were translated into arabic by muslims,it was pre islamic work.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aryabhata

Omar Khayam and many others listed on your wiki link were atheists.

What gets even more interesting is look how many Persian Islamic scholars are on that list compared to arab scholars, the vast majority of them are Persian.

Anyway it is well-known that Israelis like to produce chemicals:

World's biggest ecstasy dealer nabbed Rio

An Israeli believed to be the world's biggest dealer of ecstasy was arrested Saturday on a beach in Rio de Janeiro, Brazilian police announced.

Israelis are also known for their expertise in organ transplants:

Israeli organ trafficking ring arrested

Israeli police arrested six men from northern Israel accused of being involved in an organ trafficking ring.

The suspects, including a military brigadier general and two attorneys, were arrested Wednesday, according to reports. The ring allegedly identified potential organ donors through advertisements promising up to $100,000 in exchange for their kidneys. Some were reportedly paid $10,000 and others nothing at all. The transplants took place in Ecuador, Azerbaijan and the Philippines, under substandard medical supervision. Some of the donors are still suffering from medical complications.

FBI sting exposes organ-trafficking ring

Levy Izhak Rosenbaum, 58, of Brooklyn, N.Y., second from left, is taken into the back of the federal courthouse in Newark, N.J., on Thursday, arrested on corruption charges.

Levy Izhak Rosenbaum of Brooklyn called himself a "matchmaker," but his business wasn't romance. Instead, authorities say, he brokered the sale of black-market kidneys, buying organs from vulnerable people from Israel for $10,000 and selling them to desperate patients in the United States for as much as $160,000.

The alleged scheme, exposed last week by an FBI sting, rocked the nation's transplant industry. If true, it would be the first documented case of organ trafficking in the United States, transplant experts said Friday.

"I am what you call a matchmaker," Rosenbaum said in a secretly recorded conversation. "I bring a guy what I believe, he's suitable for your uncle." Asked how many organs he had brokered, he said "quite a lot," the most recent two weeks earlier.

As part of the scheme, which authorities say had gone on for a decade, the organ donors were brought from Israel to this country, where they underwent surgery to remove the kidneys, authorities said. Prosecutors did not identify which hospitals in the United States received the donors and their kidneys.

Rabbis who ran 'Soprano' syndicate are held by FBI

Dozens of New Jersey politicians, officials and prominent rabbis have been arrested in an FBI swoop on a Sopranos-style syndicate accused of bribery, corruption, money laundering and human organ trafficking.

Three city mayors, two state politicians and a grand rabbi were among the 44 suspects arrested in one of the biggest crackdowns on organised white-collar crime.

The 10-year investigation, Operation Bid Rig, uncovered corruption and an international multi-million-dollar money-laundering ring stretching from New York to Israel and run through charities operated by rabbis.

The complex web of corruption and back-handers led the informant to a separate money-laundering network run by rabbis who operated between Brooklyn, New Jersey, and Israel. They laundered around $3 million for the undercover witness between June 2007 and this month, according to investigators.

Allegedly involved are Saul Kassin, chief rabbi of a large Syrian Jewish synagogue in Brooklyn, and three other leading rabbis. The investigation also uncovered Levy Izhak Rosenbaum of Brooklyn, who is accused of conspiring to broker the sale of a human kidney for a transplant.

Mr Marra said: "His business was to entice vulnerable people to give up a kidney for $10,000 which he would turn around and sell for $160,000."

darkhall,

Yours is the typical response from moslems, WHENEVER THEIR TRUE ENMITY TO NON-MOSLEMS IS EXPOSED.

If someone tells the truth about ISLAM/moslems, it is not truth [we are told], but an expression of their 'hatred' of moslems, or, the critics of ISLAM/moslems are portrayed as 'racists', or 'bigots'.

Moslems are always 'innocent' victims, and their critics are always portrayed as societal 'monsters'.
....while in fact, it is the exact opposite which is true.

"...If somebody (a Muslim) discards his religion, kill him."

THE TRUTH ABOUT MOSLEMS;

Moslems typically tell the truth, about their relationship with infidels, ...when moslems talk among themselves.

Moslems typically, ARE LIARS, and will blatantly, and intentionally, and deceitfully misrepresent ISLAM to infidels, when they are talking to infidels.

DECEIT EXAMPLE #1,
GOOD MOSLEM SPEAKS TO NON-MOSLEM AUDIENCE - blatant deceit
A UK moslem *community leader*, speaking in the wake of the London 7/7 bombing;
"We condemn the killing of all innocent civilians."

#1,
THE VERY SAME GOOD MOSLEM SPEAKS TO A *MOSLEM* AUDIENCE
"...Later when he addressed his own followers he explained that he had in fact been referring only to Muslims as only they were innocent: "Yes I condemn killing any innocent people, but not any kuffar." "
http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/news/uk/article552594.ece

DECEIT EXAMPLE #2,
GOOD MOSLEM SPEAKS TO NON-MOSLEM AUDIENCE - blatant deceit
"The Undercover Mosque: The return"
"A group of Christians visiting the mosque and the preacher and the Women's Circle treat [the Christians] kindly and talk about,
'We're all people of the book and we all come from the same history'."

#2,
SAME GOOD MOSLEM SPEAKS TO A *MOSLEM* AUDIENCE
"Just as soon as that group of visitors [the Christians] leaves, the language changes completely. 'CHRISTIANITY IS VILE', the preacher says....."

Source;
ABC Radio National Religion interview transcript  - "The Undercover Mosque: The return"
".....Stephen Crittenden: .....your program highlights a certain kind of duplicity. When they're caught out, individuals don't miss a [beat], they just say they've been taken out of context....
David Henshaw: ......Regent's Park Mosque is officially committed to inter-faith dialogue....."
http://www.abc.net.au/rn/religionreport/stories/2008/2360820.htm#transcript

What 'religious' non-moslems need to realise, is that the intentional, blatant deceit, coming from the lips of moslems, lies about a 'tolerant', 'peaceful' ISLAM, is often delivered as part of a moslem 'inter-faith dialogue', with people of other faiths.

DECEIT EXAMPLE #3,
GOOD MOSLEM SPEAKS TO A *MOSLEM* AUDIENCE
Use children as troops, says cleric [Sheik Feiz Mohammed]
January 18, 2007
..."We want to have children and offer them as soldiers...Teach them this: There is nothing more beloved to me than wanting to die as a mujahid (holy warrior). Put in their soft, tender hearts the zeal of jihad and a love of martyrdom."
......"The peak, the pinnacle, the crest, the highest point, the pivot, the summit of Islam is jihad," he declares in the film, before denouncing "kaffirs" (non-Muslims).
"Kaffir is the worst word ever written, a sign of infidelity, disbelief, filth, a sign of dirt."
ahttp://news.ninemsn.com.au/article.aspx?id=94224
ahttp://www.jihadwatch.org/archives/014863.php

#3,
SAME GOOD MOSLEM SPEAKS TO NON-MOSLEM AUDIENCE - blatant deceit
Fiery Australian cleric claims jihad remarks were misunderstood
"The jihad I speak of is not one of violence,"...
"I don't believe in suicide bombing. I don't believe in violence against others," he said. "We denounce that. This is not Islamic law and it is not moral."

http://www.jihadwatch.org/2007/01/fiery-australian-cleric-claims-jihad-remarks-were-misunderstood.html

Sheik Feiz declares;
"....violence against others,..This is not Islamic law and it is not moral.";

"O ye who believe! Fight those of the disbelievers who are near to you, and let them find harshness in you, and know that Allah is with those who keep their duty (unto Him)."
Koran 9.123

Lots, lots, more examples available !!!

A Study in Muslim Doctrine
"...while sincere friendship with non-Muslims is forbidden, insincere friendship - whenever beneficial to Muslims - is not."

THE TRUTH IS THAT....

E V E R Y  D A Y  -  MOSLEMS LIE

ISLAM......is a false religion, for a false people.

People who find the idea of creation [and a creator] [ideologically] 'offensive', typically ignore, and will dishonestly 'bury' the abundant evidence which supports creation and a young earth.

That many science researchers do this [to protect their careers, reputation] is a 'scientific fact'.

And denial of facts [because they do not fit your worldview], is a corruption of the scientific process.

Telling the truth [or revealing evidence of the truth], when the truth does not fit the worldview of the majority, is not PC.

http://paleo.cc/paluxy/paluxy.htm

"For many years claims were made by strict, "young-earth" creationists that human footprints or "giant man tracks" occur alongside fossilized dinosaur tracks in the limestone beds of the Paluxy River, near Glen Rose Texas. If true, such a finding would dramatically contradict the conventional geologic timetable, which holds that humans did not appear on earth until over 60 million years after the dinosaurs became extinct. However, the "man track" claims have not stood up to close scientific scrutiny, and in recent years have been abandoned even by most creationists. "

Funny [strange] how you equate truth, with hate.

How you equate exposing what the truth is about ISLAM, with hate.

What have i said about ISLAM, which is untrue ?

Is the truth, something which is 'offensive' ???

Is that what you believe ?

If so, then imo, what a funny [strange] philosophy you have chosen to embrace.

A philosophy which says that, it is OK to turn away from truth.

But a very popular philosophy today.

Rapid petrification in some wood samples doesnt automatically translate into rapid fossilization of animal remains.

If you young earth creationists are correct about that then there wouldnt be fossils found in different strata (layers).

So if you go into your backyard and strike the earth with a pick, and you do not find gold, that means there is no gold anywhere in your state ???

i.e.
If it is true that man and dinosaurs lived in the same era, in the past, if we find dinosaur remains, we must also find the remains of ancient man [with the dinosaur remains].

That is the logic you are using.

+++

And if the geologic layers are evidence of aeons of time passing between each geologic layer, how come upright petrified trees have been found [all over the world], which intersect the 'geologic layers' which are supposedly separated by millions of years of time ?

Isn't it obvious [most logical] that in those locations, some cataclysmic event has obviously occurred, burying those upright trees in sedimentary layers ?

What other explanation would you like to propose, for those upright petrified trees intersecting the geologic layers, representing 'millions of years' of geologic time ???
