The caning you have posted is the British colonial-style caning used in former British colonies such as Singapore and Malaysia.

The Islamic flogging, used in Saudi Arabia, allows the criminal to wear clothing - there are cases where people in Saudi have worn leather jackets during the caning.

The same punishment is used in Chinese-run Singapore. Are they living in the bronze-age too? Because they certainly have a much better airport and public transport system than anything you find in Australia.

Yes - flogging is barbaric but strip seaches are often necessary in high security prisons.
Strip seaches are done in every country in the world.

Christianity used to cause people to be burnt at the stake for blasphemy
but it modernised.
Now you only have to say 3 hail Marys & 5 holy Fathers.
The Muslims are still back 1500 years ago.

or gouging out their eyes or cutting their hand or penis off is still permissible.

The person sentenced to flogging in Saudi Arabia did not actually commit blasphemy per se. But rather for insulting people.

If you insult a member of the royal family in Thaliand you can be jailed for 10 years.

In Denmark up to 6 months jail for insulting royalty.

In Greece, you can go to jail for insulting the president or Christianity.

In England, until fairly recently they would diembowel people and set fire to their intestines.

2,080 lashes for Saudi man who raped daughter

RIYADH, Saudi Arabia (AP) — An official Saudi newspaper says a man convicted of raping his daughter has been sentenced to receive 2,080 lashes over the course of a 13-year prison term.

The court in the holy city of Mecca found the man guilty of raping his teenage daughter for seven years while under the influence of drugs.

The Okaz newspaper reported Saturday that the man will receive the lashes in stages throughout his prison sentence. The man's name was not published.

Saudi religious police say the girl's uncle tipped them off to the crime.

Lashing is one of the penalties available to the clerics who serve as judges in Saudi Arabia and issue rulings according to the kingdom's strict interpretation of Islamic law.

I mentioned earlier that people whipped in Saudi Arabia are allowed to wear thick clothing. But the usual morons just want to focus on the British colonial method of whipping adminsitered in former colonies like Singapore and Malaysia instead.
