Some foods are haraam according to the alleged religion of islam. Broomsticks, 12 inch rules, pogo sticks and a host of other things are very suggestive according to muslims.

New Age Muslims like myself and my wife mohammad are a little bit more educated than mainstream muslims. However I have noticed that my wife always buys 15 inch cucumbers and her eyes water when she does.

They did name the 'religious publication' that published it. That's like claiming that the watchtower is not representative of the JW's and merely making everything up unless they list the author on every article.

Perhaps you should have quoted the bit where he rejects the relevant facts then (if indeed it exists). To me it sounds like he is withdrawing the sentiment only.

You said they named the publication, I said they didn't and proved it. And that the Egyptian site responsible  apologised for their shoddy reporting in not checking their own facts before they published their own version of the story.

Anyway, my husband read the original article and reckons the guy is saying that eating pieces of fruit like bananas in a suggestive way in public is haram. Falah can probably read Arabic, so he can back that up.
