Wtf?
I have seen this change on a daily basis where you click page 1 and it shows the latest post rather than the oldest post... What idiot decided that reading backwards is a good idea? It's like this site is populated by complete morons |

Oh, you mean like the ones who don't know enough
to go into their profile settings and change it? Because you CAN change it. |

It wasn't me. Have any of the other mods been changing it?
You can change it in your profile settings. |

I've had this happen to me twice in the past couple of weeks. Tonight was the latest. One second everything is posted in the normal (oldest first) sequence, next it's in reverse sequence. Go to the profile options and sure enough the option for reverse sequence is ticked. Untick it and it all goes back to normal.
I definitely didn't change it! |

If anyone else is having this or similar problems please let me know. My PM count is currently wrong for example.

Go to your personal profile and under options(you'll need to re-enter your password), unclick "Do you want to reverse the displayed order of posts in the topic?"
Other people have complained about it, but that's how to fix it if it happens. The question of how the box gets ticked in the first place is another question. I use Firefox and it has never happened to me. It would be interesting to see if it's related to a particular browser though. |

FD - you might have to re-build. It's under Maintenance. There are about 5 or 6 functions |

Doesn't seem to be the browser. I always use Firefox and it has happened to me. |

More on this.
It happened again to me yesterday evening. One second the posts were in the correct sequence, next they were reversed. Rather than fix it, I decided to leave it to see whether it would correct itself. Sure enough after maybe an hour the posts went back to their normal sequence without my intervention. |
