Title: I'm glad I'm not in her shoes Post by olde.sault on Jan 20th, 2012 at 1:11pm but if I were, I'd call bluff on Bob Brown and the independents, show true leadership and if they decided to take their individual bats and go home, so be it! Julia Gillard could still save her face by facing reality - the country is going to the dogs and only the alternative party can try a rescue job. Howard and Costello, COME BACK! |

I agree we need more support for high and middle class income earners who support the economy and provide growth.....Industries need to be given tax cuts and provided with incentives to employ more workers and wages for employees need to be kept at low levels to compete with Asia.....The unemployed need to be forced into work through tougher measures as it is to easy for them at the moment to suck off the taxpayer......Pensioners who did not provide for themselves during their working life should also get minimum support from the taxpayer who should not have to support their stupidity and lack of vision....Self funded retirees still invest in the economy and should be the one's who receive Government support to continue investment and grow the economy......People who have contributed very little to the economy should not be supported by the taxpayers like myself!!! 8-) |

Abbott is going to have to deal with the Greens in the Senate if he gains power so I cant see the problem.
If anyone thinks Labor is going to do Abbott any favours once they are in opposition they are kidding themselves. I can see Labor throwing the same tactics back at Abbott if he ever gets to be the PM and of course he will only have himself to blame. The next election should coincide nicely with the next Global Economic Crises so Abbott will be wrestling with a decade of zero and negative economic growth and souring unemployment...good luck to the narcissistic sociopath ;D |

However Abbott will take advantage of Australia's fossil fuel industries and provide support for high and middle income earners like myself.....The Gillard Government feel good policies and support for the bludgers who offer nothing to the economy will not provide the revenue required to grow the economy and take advantage of oour economic position.....Supporting low income earners with the proceeds of the carbon tax and mining tax is a waste of money and defeats the whole reasoning behind a free market economy and personal responsibility.....People that cannot afford to live in a prosperous society like Australia should look at going to a third world country that has a lower standard of living and leave Australia to those of us that work hard and can afford to support the growth needed to maintain our standards…..I am sick of my tax dollars being wasted on the unemployed and pensioners who did not provide for themselves during their working life….People either need to accept they must work to provide for themselves or accept the standard of living they deserve!!! 8-) |

The Greens balance of power in the Senate will be wiped out by a double dissolution election or the next election in 2015 or 2016.....Then the ALP and Greens will fade into obscurity as they have destroyed each other with self serving feel good policies that will harm our economy and provide no growth or incentive for investment.....The Greens and Labor cannot see they are harming their brand so badly that they will give the Coalition a free ride well into the next decade.....I do not support losers and bad policy and will support self interest and productivity in industries that provide the best investment for the standard of living I deserve!!! 8-) |

Media behind the Coalition? Since when? Labor has had a great go from the ABC and every TV Channel. Even "The Australian" backed Labor until some of the columnist woke up. For many years there was only 2GB to talk sense but of late, a few 2UE presenters changed sides. |
