Well......there was India under the Mughal Empire. (1526–1764) The Hindus did pretty well during the peak of the empire. Ok, the early years were a bit gory, but that's universally the case where a new order is established.  Akbar the Great for example instituted religious tolerance reforms. It was a golden age of prosperity for India.

The problem in this argument is that god is not real.

The universe is a big place.  If you take into account the universe may be no bigger, in the scheme of things, than a grain of sand, it helps put it into perspective

My god didn't create this world, in my opinion.  That's a sanity saver, right there

In this world/dimension, little kids are raped and forced to endure pregnancy and childbirth, aged nine and under.  My god wouldn't have a bar of any of that - not the rape, nor the forced pregnancy, nor the birth

My god would offer prospective parents a choice as to whether or not they wished the sex they were about to embark on to propel them into parenthood.  And my god would ask the zygote if it wished to proceed through to personhood, also if it wished these people to become its parents

If euthanasia booths were distributed through towns and cities as plentifully as are ATMs -- the queues would stretch around the block, filled with those who want to get off this planet, want to exit their lives

Who are we - where do we come from - where do we go ?  People aren't buying the Church's stories any more.  Instead, many are of the belief that evolution is just more crap.  And they believe humankind is a plaque upon the earth, a cancer, a parasite

Others believe humankind is a failed experiment - also an abandoned experiment.  And we're left here, breeding ourselves into insanity

It would be far better if humans used birth-control, rather than abortion, of course.  It would be even better if 97% of humankind was sterilized.  Until then, they're chosing abortion.  And Martin Timothy needs to quit the emotive crap and look around

Abortion is a non-issue in australia. Take your american propaganda elsewhere. In australia we have decent abortion laws. In america you can apparently get one right up to the moment of birth. Not sure I believe that but its what anti-abortion yanks tell me.
