Firstly, he has never said Gillard (I'm assuming that's who you're referring to) has a fat ass or any variation of that wording. He has always been strident in his condemnation of any personal attacks on Gillard based on her marital status or physique on the basis that people should respect the office she occupies even if they don't respect her as a person.

Secondly, I hardly think that one would be anywhere near as insulted being called a thug as they would be if called sexist, homophobic or racist. Grow up.

The people standing behind him holding the placards had every right to stand there - free speech. Should his minders have ordered them to move or frog-marched them off if they refused? Then we'd have seen you complain his people were denying people their right to free speech. The stage couldn't be moved and he came down to address protesters. So what should he have done? At least those protesters were peaceful (if passionate) and didn't trash Parliament House and injure staff, unlike Union-led protesters prior to Howard's first budget. Your hypocrisy is astonishing.

All that I expect her to do is say that it was wrong, and reprimand her staffer. It may not be her fault per se, but she is inherently involved. If she doesn't do so, then I see her as a hypocrite in the highest order, especially after her comments on last night's 7.30 Report, about the immature behaviour politicians. A shame, too, I used to think so highly of her.

Good point. I do tend to see that those on the left do tend to be more bigoted, though; ie, they can't handle a different opinion. It's not exclusive to the left, of course, but it's more noticeable/commonplace, in my opinion.

It was pointed out at the last election in a big way people are sick of the negative advertising that was going on, and the political parties just havent got the message.

It saddens me that a sitting member in a governing party needs to focus their attention to an opposition.  She should be focusing her advertising on what she has done for her electorate, not Tony Abbott.

I wasn't being hypocritical, I wasn't saying Abbott was anything like Hitler.
When it comes to manipulation of the masses for political gain they aren't even in the same league.
Abbotts lead in the polls is far more Labors fault as opposed to Abbotts actions.

If modern TV had existed then it would have been interesting. Although Hitler wasnt the only one @ that time with propaganda. Some of the british and american stuff of the same time was pretty interesting. Modern TV would have made the whole thing about murdoch.

The Germans were not the only ones at the time who wanted to annihilate the Jews.
At the time France was expected to inflict a holocaust on the Jewish people before the Germans gave it a go.

Heh. So one has to wonder why the jews are not liked. Perhaps its their disproportionate reaction to things. Perhaps its their attitude that they are better than anyone else and the rest of us are cattle. Perhaps its the way they claim to be a "race" when they are a religion. Perhaps its something else. They keep pissing ppl off though throughout history. They arent martyrs. They are trolls.

We should also note that the Jews do not mention all the others the Germans inflicted the haulocaust on.
The mother of a Polish friend of mine lost all of her family apart from her brother to the gas chambers and no one in their family is Jewish.
Do the Jews only care about themselves and if so that may be the reason they have problems making friends.

It was the National socialists, one of the first things Hitler done when he took control of the party was to dump the socialists.

Even though they kept the name most people agree that the Nazi's were politically on the extreme right.
