I ask the mods to put all the Thomson threads together.

I'm not sure which was first, but wouldn't it be better to have all these in one place. ??

I'll consolidate some of them... ok done. If you want to find your own posts, click on your profile and select last 25 posts (or whatever)

Better to just leave them be.
Splicing them now will just confuse matters more.
We can handle lots of threads on the biggest political controversy for years.
If any new ones are particularly silly, we could splice those together I suppose, but what is out there already would make finding older posts very difficult for any who may wish to do so, which in this case is a lot more probable than for other topics.
If members are sick of them, ignore them.

personally I'm happy to wait and see, but, some of the posts really OFFEND me.
