My wife needed a 3.5 mm to 3.5 mm lead to connect an ipod to a car stereo. So I thought I get one at Dick Smith's.

15 bucks !! Are you kidding me. Needless to say I walked out.

Lets try K-mart. 7 bucks. OK I said to my wife it looks like the best deal you'll get here so she grabbed it.

As we went to shop at Aldis I forgot about the 2 dollar shop right next to Aldis so I thought I'd check it out. You won't believe it. It was only 2 bucks so I grabbed it and told my wife to go back to K-mart and get a refund which she did.

Here are two big corporations that should have considerable buying power from china and yet they want to slide right into the consumer as hard as they can :(

The question is why isn't tricky dicky slagging off his former business for this scam ??

well my business ended up in a 2 dollar shop run by a chinaman and the woolies share holders can go and kiss their own arse !! At the end of the day I got the made in china good at a considerably reduced price which is how it should be !!
