bills have been going up for the last 10 yrs and there has been no carbon tax.... make sure you don't credit the energy providers greed to the carbon tax ... calculate only the tax part of it .. if you can see any ...it should be approx. .07%

its the little things that creep up food. meat is a shocker has been for yonk.. so I rarely buy it..will be buying even less if it gets worse..and thats about all I can do..all I know is every time I go to the shops I spend more and more..and get less and less.

Many businesses are doing what the government wants, that is if they raise prices which they will they just wont blame it on the CT, it will be other factors, that way they can raise prices as needed but not worry about being fined, and the gov can then claim that no prioce rises were due to the CT.

Yes interesting that because you point at the deficiencies in the data that they continually serve up to support their "predictions" they scream denier and yet when you can point at history they are happy to deny or ignore the fact that it ever happened.
That's the beauty of GW predictions you can continually change your theory to fit the facts and then claim to call it "science". What a sweet deal.
The Australia wide Federation drought is an historical case in point and if the same circumstance happened now we would really be in the deep stuff. It lasted from 1895 to 1903. What is more it was followed by some of the heaviest and widespread rains on record.
Most states were also listed as in drought 1911-1916, 1918-1920, 1939-1945, 1958-1968, etc and excludes localised state droughts.

Alas progs we are constrained by such things and history and evidence and do not have the luxury of such a wide ranging and speculative brief.  ;)

But the huge tax cuts for low paid has already taken effect. How far in front will they be before they see any negative impact if any do eventually show up.

People got an extra 10K tax free from the last pay period, for anyone on a wage of 30K this is a huge increase. Instead of paying tax on around $22K it goes down to around $11K or half of last years tax bill.
