He sounds like he doesn't care about anything !!
The reason why they don't care is because they are tryuing to flog off all of the filthy brown coal in Victoria whilst at the same time making it difficult to install wind turbines :( The liberals are polluting scumbags !! |

Isn't there 1000 odd wind turbine permits that have not been acted upon yet? |

Bit if info. The Vic coalition have definitely made the criteria to gain permits harder. > > > One of the ironies of the current situation is that the Baillieu government is likely to oversee the largest boom in the industry's history largely through projects that originated under Labor. Victoria currently has 268 turbines with a capacity of 431 megawatts. Permits have been issued for another 1100 turbines that could be built in this term of government. Not all will be - already, some projects have been judged financially unviable. History suggests others will not be ready to go before their permits lapse, and will have to risk winning new approval under the new tough regulations. That means a political decision following the Fukushima Daiichi disaster one year ago ends up costing the average German citizen even more to secure what is already among the most expensive electricity in the world. The government will initiate a campaign valued at more than $260 billion to harness wind and solar power. > > > Nice if you have 1/4 of a trillion $$ to blow. :-/ http://www.moneymorning.com.au/20120326/the-260-billion-renewable-energy-revolution-germany-is-set-to-invest-in.html |
