The Greens are pissed because they have no control over this at all. Thei r9 seats and balance of power means bigger all when Labor and Liberal support each other.

I tend to think the Greens are being pretty lame for not accepting the compromise but they are sticking by their principals which is what most of us expected them to do and that will secure their base for the next election.
We all know why the Democrats disappeared..shafting their supporter base and voting through the GST

The Green's plan. It's a good plan. What's wrong with it? The part about increase the number of people we accept? Howard, Abbott and Gillard all want a big Australia.

Then maybe she should have engaged the outcome when she was invited to. But being a stupid Green who cannot compromise or negotiate, she gave Gillard no option than to give Abbott his solution.
