re 'Our prophet, our honour'

While you moslems are in Australia.....
....OBEY OUR LAWS.

We enjoy.....
Our country....
Our laws....
Our freedom of expression [and the right to scrutinise and criticise ourselves, and others].

And if moslems don't [enjoy the freedoms that we all can enjoy, here in Australia], then moslems are free to leave Australia, and to go to make a new life in another place, that suits their particular moslem world-view better.

Perhaps a moslem majority country, a Sharia jurisdiction, would suit moslems better.

FOOLS! Once again you have been tricked by lying Americans. "White House knew Benghazi attack was a terrorist act from day one. On Thursday, the Defense Department confirmed the attack as having been hatched by terrorists, despite earlier statements made by the White House that suggested an anti-American film produced in the US had triggered a spontaneous assault."
what fools you all are to be tricked.

Yadda, I know it's not unusual for you to spout this kind of illogical jumble of nonsense that has little relevance to the topic at hand, and have nobody challenge you on it because they know the chances of receiving an intelligible response from you are between buckley's and none, but I guess it's worth a try.

What on earth has this rant got to do with non-Muslim quotes about Muhammad (pbuh)?

What has my rant got to do with some non-moslem quotes about Mohammed ?

This....

Those views about Mohammed, imo, are weak, and they are uninformed, and uncritical.

And those views represent a rubbish appraisal of the person we know as 'Mohammed', imo.

Further.....

And >> being an Australian, and living in Australia << i want to see more satirical movies about Mohammed, particularly if those movies portray Mohammed accurately [i.e. if such movies are based upon the record of historical ISLAMIC texts].

This is Australia, and this is an Australian public forum.

And i want more people to enquire, about what kind of man Mohammed was.

Further.....

AND, i want moslems who riot on 'mainstreet' in Sydney [because those moslems are offended, that people can scrutinise Mohammed's satirised life], to be arrested.

Because this is Australia [not Bahrain, or Jordan, etc], and persons who riot on 'mainstreet' in Sydney, Australia, SHOULD BE ARRESTED.

What is [public] 'intellect', without appropriate content ?

I don't worship men.

I don't have 'respect', for many men.

No different to the globalisation protests and all other protests which have ever taken place.

Nobody took it out on Australia, in fact all the honest media reports show it was the police who instigated the violence, the Muslims merely responded in kind.

Your atttitude has me perplexed. Especially from an Australian.

Having a communal shower in a workplace situation isn't abhorrent. Patting somebody on the back or winking (saying g'day)  isn't abhorrent. Sound like you are justifying blue on green shootings. Seeing that some of those were on Australians I find these comments highly offensive.Your problem is that you are two thirds extremist.

Abu what is the big deal with a communal shower? Do you mean where everyone gets naked together, or would you have a problem with using a shower facility that had been previously used by a woman?

I see you guys are working hard on the big problems.

The kid looked young enough not to know how to read and prolly didnt know what it said so what is the outrage? @ the mother obviously but trying to emotionally drag it out with the use of the child is stupid since he prolly didnt know what was happening.

spot,

The mother is a recent arrival from Jordan, and said she didn't understand what it said. When it became a media issue, she went immediately to a police station and explained.

Ignorance of the law is not a valid excuse.

We have enough people here with violent radical views already.

Deport her and that's the end of it.

Yeah right. She knew exactly what it said. There were hundreds of people around her that could of told her. Who doesn't know what they are parading. She was worried about being deported or her child taken off her. So she musters up some tears and puts on a show for the do-gooders at family services. Hook , line and sinker. You're a good muslim Abu. You stand up for them. I'm on the other side. We've got a huge divide going down the middle of us. You're right on the money there Quantum. If I went to live in somebody else's country I'd watch my P's and Q's , learn the language and try to fit in . After all it's their country. But she blows in on some arranged marriage deal with some deadbeat Muslim from Lakemba and starts protesting. The arrogance and insult. I can see why everybody that isn't Muslim dislikes them. I'd say a few of them were FOBS (fresh of the boat). Some were black and some Bosnian. They are new arrivals and 1st gen. The arrogance and slap in the face to the society that helped them is unbelievable.

Maybe those 400 ppl, instead of participating in what turned into a violent street protest, should have made their own film about Mohammed ?

Then we could have all had, and went to, a film critics convention.

And we could have all judged whether moslems can make relevant and informative films ?

the come-back.....
'Moslems are NOT allowed to make films about Mohammed.'

Well then, if moslems do not want to participate in the LAWFUL pluralistic culture of Australia [by creating art, art which others may want to LAWFULLY, and PEACEFULLY criticise], then moslems should maybe leave pluralistic Australia?

And maybe moslems should make their lives, in a in a place were such freedoms are not tolerated?

e.g.
Maybe moslems should choose to make their lives, within a moslem majority society?

But Australia is not one of those places.    [.....in fact many moslems [here, in Australia] tell us that they have left those moslem majority societies, because those moslem majority societies are not safe to live in. And we will debate, whether people like myself have been provoked, by the utterances, and the conduct of moslems, AND, we can examine whether what i have said about those utterances of moslems, and that conduct of moslems, was untrue.

gomtuu,

Do you believe in the right of a person to respond, to provocation, by another ?

i.e.
My right to respond, to provocation.

OR, do you believe that only moslems should have the right to respond, to provocation ['offence'] ???

Sydney, 2012, moslem street protests.
'Demonstrating' just how 'peaceful' ISLAM and moslem really are.

In Australia, i currently have the right to scrutinise ISLAM, and i currently have the right to criticise Mohammed's life.

I know that moslems who want to prevent me from engaging in such criticism [of ISLAM or of Mohammed], would do so, by getting me within their absolute power, and they would then ['lawfully'] kill me, for that 'offence' against his religion.

One person cannot lawfully do that, to another person, under current Australian laws.

But if a moslem threatens to kill me, because i do not believe what he believes [about ISLAM/Mohammed], can you see that it is the moslem that is creating a state of war between us ???
n.b. It is the moslem, who wishes to kill me.

*picks up cards, smiles. 'what a dick'..* I'll match your pluralism with context:

context refers to surrounding text or talk of an expression (word, sentence, conversational turn, speech act, etc.). The idea is that verbal context influences the way we understand the expression. Hence the norm not to cite issues out of context. Since much contemporary linguistics takes texts, discourses or conversations as its object of analysis, the modern study of verbal context takes place in terms of the analysis of discourse structures and their mutual relationships, for instance the coherence relation between sentences.

So your argument is that moslems don't want people to make films [.....unless they make films which praise ISLAM] ???

And it is banal when moslems threaten to cut off the heads of people who make films that they [moslems] do not approve of ?

Don't you think that that, is taking 'film criticism' just a little too far ?

Or is the context, that that form of 'film criticism' is perfectly acceptable within Sharia jurisdictions ?

p.s.
Living in Australia, why should i care about what moslems approve of ?

Further,.....
If a moslem threatens to murder me, i will take him at this word.

And why would my conclusion [that a moslem DOES intend to murder me], be so strange ???

Sydney, 2012, moslem street protests.
Moslems stating, that they really are violently intolerant, of any world-view which does not coincide with their own world-view.

What moslems are want to communicate to the rest of us.....

"If you don't believe what i believe, and if you express it openly, I WILL CUT YOUR HEAD OFF!!!"

She was worried about being deported or her child taken off her. So she musters up some tears and puts on a show for the do-gooders at family services. Hook , line and sinker. You're a good muslim Abu. You stand up for them. I'm on the other side. We've got a huge divide going down the middle of us. I've never heard of a aussie going to dinner at a muslims house or vice versa. I wonder what the future holds?

*could have told her*

Tell me if you were new to a country and found yourself in a protest and (hypothetically) you saw a sign on the ground - would you stop someone and ask them what it said? Seriously? By the sounds of it she did find out what it meant after she took the picture.

You dont know what other ppl will do. The fact that she went to the police with it is something telling also . . .

SOB

when you get your 911 you will understand there is only one way to deal with these Bin Laden rabble.

Obviously you cant do hypotheticals.

Ahh so basically you use 11/9 as an excuse for your judging whole bunches of ppl on airy fairy theories? I take it you are religious?

SOB

I was not always religious. but yes I am a Christian.
Though can't say I'm regular at the church. Sunday mornings can be tough after a night on the town. haha
As for the airy fairy stuff they showed us what they want to do to the free world, you see it on the TV all the time.
I am saying we cannot wait before we see more of there terrorist acts.
Whose side you on son?

Ahh. Black and white. "Sides." No "side" mate. I dont like any religions. the xtians and muslims hating on each other. . . .

She allowed here children to threaten to KILL its against the law to do that.

I personally felt threatened by the disgusting signs and feared for my life. I have been in mental anguish ever since I saw their appalling tirade.

Is anybody interested in bringing a class action against this family so that they may be deported?

PM me if you are willing to do so.

You make her sound like a robot or a rag doll. Wake up!

You make her sound like a terrorist scumbag. Wake up!

I don't think she's a terrorist scumbag. I do think she's disrespectful and a kid mind polluting hater. I'd love to see her on the way back to Jordon with her hubby because I feel she'll be part of a future problem for australia. Wake up Spot you apologist!!

How can she be polluting the mind of a child if the child cant read the sign? She herself couldnt read the sign . . ..Wake up dave you apologist!

She's sending her kid out on a hate rally. Most people take their kids to the park. She's not what Australia needs. Who needs another future adult running around that that sees his/her fellow citizens as the enemy. You're a sucker spot, and wake up also.

So now it was a "hate rally"? Because a few got violent doesnt mean everyone was. It happens in non-muslim protests too you know. Theres always someone there to wreck it for everyone else.

SOB

400 people marching behind banners calling for the beheading of their critics is about as close as you'll get to a hate rally Spot. It is pretty much unique to Islam.

So you have gone around the loop again. There werent 400 ppl carrying banners. I doubt that even a fraction knew the banners were there.

Are you kidding!! 400 people isn't that many. Almost  everybody was carrying  a slogan written on their clothes (especially head bands), a flag or a banner. It was a rally full of slogans. Are you blind or something. Too much wanking I bet. It was god damned hate rally.

There were sixth pillar t shirts (radical islamic group), headbands which read - O Mahamod, we are your soldiers, jihad headbands. Signs reading- Our dead are going to paradise yours are going to hell, Behead those that insult the prophet, Obama, Obama we love Osama. They stopped traffic right in the middle of Sydney all the was chanting down down USA all the way. They tried to get into the MLC building (American Consulate) to smash it up but were stopped. They then caused a riot where many people were hurt.

Spot believes it was just a few signs and a small number of problem makers. And the rest didn't see any signs or didn't understand them. WAKE UP!!! They all knew what was going on and what was written on those signs. They were a tight group.

Yes spot, we are going over it again because you still don't get it. The banners were not hidden. 400 people is not such a large crowd that you would fail to see the banners. It's not like 400 complete strangers all turned up at the exact same time and started marching without even checking they were at the right rally. Think about what you are saying.

I don't believe in any god sweatness. I know a problem when I see one though. I can see an australia at war with these people in the future. I also see a bomb going off eventually. given that trade unions & other pressure groups have rallies all the time, and lord  forbid, have banners with ritin' on them! don't these ppl have a right to march? and express their concerns?
and what right is it of ours to have disparate groups conform to our accepted methods of dispatching ppl? same with cattle and sheep. we should not be distracted from the point, which is that the majority of westerners do not respect the Profit and His teachings.
if you then come out and say that western governments have no control over film making et al, then they would say (and I agree) that if you want harmony and cooperation from Islam, then one needs to make these small alterations to our systems of government.
would you not agree?
repetition can be an entrapment into stasis.

We want submission from Islam - after all, that's it's name - not cooperation or permission.

We want it to submit to the western, democratic, secular social and political system, not meet it half way. It has nothing new or positive to offer that hasn't already been taken up in the last 1400 years. All it can do now is submit. It has no improvements to offer to our society.
