Sharia courts have been operating in Britain to rule on disputes between Muslims for more than a year, it has emerged.


Five sharia courts have been set up in London, Birmingham, Bradford and Manchester and Nuneaton, Warwickshire. The government has quietly sanctioned that their rulings are enforceable with the full power of the judicial system, through the county courts or High Court. Previously, the rulings were not binding and depended on voluntary compliance among Muslims.

They are non compulsory arbitrations that can only give rulings that are compatiable with the law of the land. The jewish community have similar and have done for a long time.

It is one law.. They don't get to hand out what ever punishments they like that don't correspond with the law of the land.

And if i recall correctly, they are civil matters only.

Jewish Law courts have been in the UK & Europe for centuries administering jewish law for jews.  And in australia since 1905.  They are called 'Beth Din".

And they are seperate from australian Law.

The only policy should be 'go to your mufti where they can direct you to a lawyer who will explain Australian law, otherwise face the consequences that all Australians would have to face"

Well if the solution is that simple just to deal with the boats, and the assylum seekers, Why are the people of Australia So stupid they can't do it.

Why? It's just a cultural type thing, we have the Koori courts here on that basis.
