Title: Julia's odd behaviour
Post by olde.sault on Mar 20th, 2013 at 4:09pm

Certainly not behaviour that one would expect in parliament.

Maybe blokes have a point and that's the reason no woman has been an PM before.

Julia may be suffering the ill affects of menopause.

"I'm a strong feisty woman in contest with the weak-policy Abbott.

If she had been at kindergarten she may have accompanied this classic statement by poking out her tongue.

Excellent point, OS. To think JuLiar blames it all on mysogeny.

I just dont see it going down to well if Abbott said "I'm a strong feisty man in contest with the weak-policy Gillard"

She is, by far, the most sexist person in parliament...

At least he isnt blaming the feminists, the women, the misandrists, the strong women, the weak women.

Gillard has turned our parliament into a sexist joke.

It would be nice if gillard just shut her mouth from time to time instead of being so sexist. Atleast Abbott knows when its best just to say nothing at all than to reveal all stupidity. Not gillard.

Not sure what behaviour you are referring to but she cops abuse from the opposition all day every day (and the media as well) so she is bound to get in a bad mood now and then.

I am not really surprised you are one of those women hating women though.

So when gillard gets angry, she shows her real side. The sexist, lesbian, feminazi, mothers are prostitutes, man hating side.

Agreed. She is angry a lot lately.

As a true leftist, you have to blame my supposed dislike for women because of what Julia has done to this country.

Take off your blindfold, clean out your ears and face reality - you'll have to sooner or later if this female lunatic is not scraped out of her chair.

Is she a "female", sport, or one of a new gender brand?

From the women I know or knew, most have balanced the home budget and did much better than their men.

I certainly had to throughout my marriage as my ex was hopeless at  budgeting - always in debt and borrowing--

I had hoped that Julia, being a woman, would have been more practical than her predecessor - I was wrong, now recalling that she was as guilty in all the failed programs.

That was a typo, you petty mongrel!

I use an "an" only before a silent "h". If my finger slips, can't be helped - there are few posters on this site who don't make similar "TYPOS".

Commenting about such errors just shows that  my texts are near-perfect while you suffer a sense of inferiority.

"An pm before"?

;D

"An" pm before?

When had an "an" fronted a word starting with a "p"?

By "pm" did you mean prime minister or an hour of day?

That is what I meant about your posts, Bigvic, they are hard to decipher.

Err..An PM was from YOUR post Old Sour Puss.  See in the box above?  I queried it.  Get it now?   You need to take your meds.

If you use only use "an" before a silent H then you need some more grammar lessons.

Fingers slipped between A and P  How?????

My fingers are old and clumsy and mine are not the only ones on this site so commenting on typos is a that of a person with little to do--

On another matter, Scope, it has been made optional to jam in an "an" before a word other than one with a silent "h" : hour, honour, honest, etc.

BUT that is for semi-literates - Not only does it sound awkward but pretentious - makes me shudder--

There are always the galahs who want to have the language "evolve" when English doesn't need it, we are not evolving natives. . .

"An" has always been used with vowels or vowel sounding words not just silent H
an Orange
an Elephant
an Uncle

English has evolved for hundreds of years the English language is made from many other languages.
You can't just take the language as it was 200 years ago and claim that it is correct, why because each year we add many new words therefore the grammar rules have to change with it.
