Title: Unbelievable
Post by skippy. on Mar 24th, 2013 at 1:37pm
That the man the Howard government hid from the media and public two elections ago because he was such an extreme right wing nutter is on the cusp of leading the coalition to victory.
He hasn't changed, so what has?

Care to answer? Howard and the Libs considered Abbott so bad they hid him in the 2007 election now he is about to lead them to an election he could well win, what has changed! He hasn't, he's still a  nut job supported by the extreme nut jobs.

Labor has simply performed suicide.  It's in such a dire circumstance that even the likes of Bronwen Bishop would win as a leader. Absolute disgrace that we are left with such choices in Australian politics. And nothing good can come out of it at all - only the same crap that will ensure this country doesn't move forward but stays at a standstill. 21 years of growth, 12th largest economy in the world, and we are still acting like a 5 year old child who didn't get the toy we wanted.  Just look at the topics on the forum today - once again nonstop "illegals illegals illegals".  This is what has become acceptable in our society.   Ad nauseum.

Yes, illegals are an issue which concern many voters

Yes, it's been engineered so that our 'choices' are between this or that owned puppet

Sports politics.  My team agin your team.  Black vs white.

Same orchestration has been accomplished in the US

In Europe, where people are more inclined to get off their backsides in defence of their lives and futures, they're organising alternative parties

In Australia, we're so polite, so crippled by our indoctrination in political correctness and so terrified, apparently, of the words 'racism', 'racist'

but give it time

Australia is becoming home to European in addition to the floods of uneducated, Saudi-sponsored muslims and Africans who're apparently immune to Australian law

Hopefully, those European New-Australians won't lose their fight during their 27 hour flight to this hot rock

Hopefully they'll see in Australia an echo of what was imposed upon Europe

Hopefully they'll decide to stand and fight, because Australia is basically white man's last stand

and hopefully they'll motivate, encourage and shame Aussies into rediscovering their spine

Would be nice to have some viable alternative political parties in Australia, wouldn't it.  I say 'yes', 'damn yes'

All it will take is for Australians to avoid fora such as this one, which is basically a tool used to convince Aussies that a choice between Labor and Libs is all they have

By now, most Aussies are aware that there ARE NO TWO PARTIES.  Instead, it's the one joke party wearing two fake faces -- run from offshore, dictated by USrael and prodded and pushed by the characters who hold a monopoly on the so-called 'news'

Time for Australians to get angry and toss the shadow-government back to where it came from, as it's been tossed out of so many countries going back 2000 years

Time for Aussies to demand more from the scum known collectively as 'politicians'.  Time to bring back hanging, which is the penalty for Treason.  And man, we've had one treasonous set of political ratbags after another

A few dead politicians would do Australia the world of good.  It would send most current politicians and union scum running for their bolt holes o'seas, for one.  And would put all future politicians on warning that we are not going to cop it any more

There is no problem in someone's thinking being changed. But how many times? And with that, surely it isn't just the thinking but also the policies that go with that should change? ANd yet here is a simply case of Tony trying to make sure he doesn't say something stupid. He did, and he quickly changed it. But the policy didn't follow so we know his original stupid thought is what he actually beleives.

And how many times can one say, "in hindsight", before we get sick of it and realise the guy's a dill?

9800 posts :) And actually I'm presently enjoying a very good novel. When you learn to read at an adult level I might lend it to you, if you like?  But in the meantime I guess you can go back to your medieval era thinking and shaking on your rocking chair, all in fear of people that may not look exactly the same as you. But then, not all weigh 300kg, so I'm surprised you only have a fear of those with different shade skin.

And as you may have noticed, I am not a fan of the Gillard approach either, and have ssaid many times they shouldn't have pampered on the mining tax but kept the original design. But what you're suggesting consistently by always bringing it back to Gillard is that you want the same approach to conitnue, under Abbott. and that I don't think is the right way forward. At all. Hence why I say, NO to Gillard, and NO to Tony.

Chanting the mantra:  ' All you have are choices between Libs and Labor'

Fortunately this forum is extremely under patronised

No surprise

The Paid-to-Post desperates seem to consider this home

Australia moves straight past it

Virtually nowhere in this forum -- be it this weekend or other -- is there any serious discussion of alternative parties

The 'why' is obvious

Blunt tools being paid paltry shekels to chant the mantra
' Your choices are Libs or Labor'

Change is coming.  Has to come.  Even dumbclucks realise now that there is NO DIFFERENCE between the pretend two fake-parties

Aussies are active now in massive international fora

They see what the fake two party system did to the US and UK, etc.

Aussies know who's behind it

Aussies are waking up

Which is why the panic to control thought and speech by Gillard on instruction from her owners

You think it's done?  No, Abbott will continue the agenda if he lucks in.  Abbott is owned by the same scum who own Gillard

We shouldn't be paying politicians because they're simply middle-men for the middle-men.  Australia is run and controlled from offshore

Aussies know it and are telling their friends

I will never vote for Abbott.  Abbott was the guy who organised the destruction of Pauline Hanson

Pauline Hanson remains popular

Other Pauline's are in the wings

The worse the abuses by the fake two party system, the more the population will demand and create alternatives

If Australia's defacto rulers attempt to suppress it, it will grow ever more rapidly

Ironically, it's migrants who lead the charge against further migration.  The 'racist', 'racism' BS will be laughed into oblivion as Aussies and migrants join ranks against the true enemies of this land

The most strident opposition to the current fake two party system comes from migrants

It's gone as far as it can go.  No one wants Gillard or Abbott nor Libs nor Labor.  They're old sandshoes that people want to see tossed in the trash

Thought you were talking about the Mining tax, Carbon Tax, Media laws.

All policies that changed, some that just failed, some to placate the formation of government, that apply to the opening lines of your post.

Gillard's the PM....

Not for much longer. And if you are looking for a real alternative, then you shouldn't try to compare that alternative to Gillard based on the same characteristics.  Rather, you should hope to aim higher.    "Tony's okay because Gillard does it too" is NOT how to judge an alternative.

I actually agree. Abbott is a populist, where as I don't believe Gillard is. I don't think she is a great PM by any means. But her whole party need to take a good long look at itself. Any party that surrenders leadership of this country to Abbott  has major problems. He was never ever meant to be anything but a spoiler against Turnbull and Rudd, but Labor played him into the game. Look he's the luckiest smacking dimwit  since Billy McMahon to stumble upon the PMship by being in the right place at the right time.

They're old sandshoes that people want to see tossed in the trash

up can hardly argue about alternative parties when the only alternate party that even reaches double digits is the greens.

We've long moved on from the budgie smugglers and onto his character and policy agenda.  I know you love living in the past, but if you want any credibility you might want to spend less time concentrating on the appearahce of a person and more on something with a bit more substance. Dont care since it is out and out hypocrisy from the left with an obvious extreme leftist as PM. Abbott gets so many free tickets thanks to the love of the leftists for gillard.

I just hope he doesnt use the free ticket of lying to us about a major policy area and then implement it when he is voted in.

Yeh im pretty certain Abbott has more class than that.

We've long moved on from the budgie smugglers and onto his character and policy agenda.  I know you love living in the past, but if you want any credibility you might want to spend less time concentrating on the appearahce of a person and more on something with a bit more substance. As per usual, we won't hold our breath, given your inability to put forward any intellectual thought.

Yeh no, dont do that. I couldnt live with the resposibility.

Just love how all concepts are on your terms. Although you are full of BS about moving on, it still makes for an elitist.

Yep, I am elitist for asking you to concentrate the debate away from physical attire. ;D

Progs problem is that he hasn't got the IQ of a gnat. He, unlike others on here, he cannot talk about policy because he hasn't a dam clue and always ends up looking the fool. All he can do to get his 2 cents worth in is concentrate on 3 world slogans and stupid petty things like Easter rabbits and glasses.'

He kids himself into thinking no one will notice how brainless he is if he avoids getting into details ... what do you expect from someone who makes subway sandwiches for a living.

Hey dont knock the subways sandwhich makers. That got you through school. Ingrate.[/quote]

there was no subway when I was at school moron.

42 IS NOT OLD.

In fact seeing the wife & I did the smart thing & had children when her body was at its peak child bearing age, not only haven't we had to fork out & endure IVF crap we are now the proud parents of an independent 17 year old with her own car,job & money.

In fact at 42 we are now partying harder than we did at 18 because we have more disposable income.

left school in 1988 = OLD FVCKER

YEAH RIGHT ANDREI 8-)

I could not have done 90-99% of the things I did in my 20s with children.

Having kids in your 20s is fking crazy in my book.

At 23, I was getting hammered with 5 mates in Faliraki following leaving university.

Kids? Having a laugh guv'nor!

And 42 is old.

At 23 I was a fully qualified chef doing the island thing in QLD, hammered every night, rooting everything that moved & if it didn't I pushed it & smoking way too much weed.

Having Kids in your 30's to 40's is stupid.
1) big chance it won't be natural & cost bucket loads
2) who wants to deal with moody teenagers in their 50's & 60's

And 42 is the new 21

So suck it up whippersnapper ;D

That the man the Howard government hid from the media and public two elections ago because he was such an extreme right wing nutter is on the cusp of leading the coalition to victory.
He hasn't changed, so what has?

what makes you think he hasnt changed? .

A politician that does media interviews to tell the country he has changed is a fraud. Only the fools are fooled.

If politicians don't change and they are just fooling us.

Should we not be desperately worried that the Prime Minister was a member of an Extreme Left wing organisation some years ago?

Worry all you like, but this thread is about the next PM   Now bugger off If you can't comment on the topic of phony tony haiving to call press conferences to say he has changed. Lol the extreme right don't like phony tony being under the spot light do they?

astonishing... Juliar had her own press conferences announcing 'the real julia' and yet when abbot does the same you go off the deep end.

it makes you look sillier than usual.
