Contraversial New Zealand politician, Matty, has called for the Australian government to re-introduce capital punishment for Indonesian people-smugglers.

"By law, these people are not Australian citizens and can be legally dealt with by execution", Matty said in Dunedin yesterday. "The current Australian government enables these people. They should be dealt with in the strongest possible manner", Matty said.

Matty will return to Australia later in the year to contest the federal election. "My return shall be thunderous", Matty said.

Matty’s advisor was unavailable for comment.

Just because he chooses to live in Dunedin is no reason to form some ridiculous mental picture.
