Title: North Korea to save Gillard Post by adelcrow on Mar 29th, 2013 at 10:20am
If the dimwits in North Korea are stupid enough to launch a few missiles at South Korea and Japan over the next few days the all out attack on North Korea by the USA and its allies including Australia will mean Labor will romp in the next election. Just as Tampa saved Howard North Korea could very well save Gillard.

Tony will be hoping the North Koreans don't start a war because if history is anything to go by his political career will be over when the first missile hits Seoul and the yanks and their allies launch an all out attack.

the nuclear doctrine in place by all nuclear powers is simple. If attacked by a nuke they will respond using nukes. NK possesses a couple of tiny nukes. If they launch one at pretty much anywhere, the country will cease to exist 30 minutes later. there wont be a need for an army or an airforce. all that will be needed is the Red Cross to bring the survivors out.

What are we going to attack them with? We can't even defend our own borders from a fleet of 'refugee' carrying leaky boats. And, NOTHING is going to save Julia Gillard and the ALP come September. |
