Title: To "The right to life mob" Post by olde.sault on Apr 22nd, 2013 at 1:07pm
The right to little Bailey Constable's sort of life?
Seems his mother's pleasure-needing organ had more rights. Apparently, she has other children (on Welfare handouts, naturally) and now the next boyfriend will arrive to share her nest and do what he likes with her brood. How come this woman has not been charged with anything? |

What the hell are you on about? Contrary to whatever you may believe, most people cannot read minds.
A link would be nice !!!! |

I think it's a story from the UK.
A vertically challenged Old Bailey constable needs to get a life - or is overworked - or something. His mother likes a bit of the ol' rumpy pumpy (and who doesn't), but luckily she's met a nice new man who is about to move in with her and her other children. I'm not sure about the last bit - but I assume she's obtained some goods or services that are as yet unpaid for. That's my take on it anyway. |

I would guess this....
Six years for fatally bashing girlfriend's son A man who was like a "ticking time bomb" when he was high on drugs has been sentenced to at least six years for bashing his girlfriend's four-year-old son to death after injecting speed. Nathan William Forrest pleaded not guilty to murder, but guilty to manslaughter of Bailey Constable, who died after suffering several blows on April 1, 2011, at a home near Warren, in the state's west. In addition, the murderer winked top someone after the verdict was read, no doubt relived that the sentence was not much heavier than braining a nuisance cat! |

It was in the news last week as well as today. In addition Prue Dowd (NSW Coalition minister) was on the hot seat which must have pleased many on the left. Is it a leftwing practice not to listen to news? No wonder that you are on the left side of politics - hear nothing, see nothing! |

Given that "The right to life mob" are generally concerned with campaigning against abortion and euthanasia, are you suggesting that this child should have been aborted rather than being carried to full term and born? |

Where do you closet your brains, Francis? Are you suggesting that being tortured for four of his (only) years is still better than not coming into this world at all? I wish you a similar fate, woman! That's what I mean about the "mob" - their only concern is that the child leaves the womb then, it can fight its own battles. Their best work would be to keep an eye on the already-born in dysfunctional households. Would any one say that Bailey's mother had welcomed this boy's birth (other than the bonus)? She's dropped too more since for the pleasure of bashers or paedophiles. |

If you were interested at all, you'd have typed the name "Bailey Constable" in "Google", brought up the account of the tragedy which would have made it unnecessary to make a fool of yourself. Anyway, that's what I would have done instead of making out that I was smart! |

This is a typical example of what the Americans call plea bargaining.
Instead of the Prosecution going through the expensive process of charging him with murder and the trial etc. They let the little sh.t plead guilty to manslaughter. No expensive trial to go through, saves the Government money, the prosecutor is happy with a conviction and the little turd is happy because he gets out of gaol in 4 years. We should be demanding that this 'plea bargaining business' be scuttled, it is an aberration and needs to be turfed, let offenders be charged with what they have done. Now many criminals and the Government have made crime and punishment a freaking joke. 6 years for killing an innocent little boy, our society should hang its head in shame. If you care enough about this, write to your local politician, as soon as they think they are going to lose votes, it gets them off their hands. Is your conscience strong enough to spend 10 minutes writing in about it? I challenge you to do it. I will. |
Title: Re: To "The right to life mob" Post by red baron on Apr 23rd, 2013 at 8:42am Six years for fatally bashing girlfriend's son Date April 19, 2013 Elizabeth Fullerton NSW Supreme Court Nathan William Forrest CPR Killed by mother's boyfriend ... Bailey Constable. Photo: Supplied A man who was like a "ticking time bomb" when he was high on drugs has been sentenced to at least six years for bashing his girlfriend's four-year-old son to death after injecting speed. Nathan William Forrest pleaded not guilty to murder, but guilty to manslaughter of Bailey Constable, who died after suffering several blows on April 1, 2011, at a home near Warren, in the state's west. The Crown accepted his plea. In the NSW Supreme Court on Friday, Justice Elizabeth Fullerton sentenced Forrest to a maximum eight years in jail, with a non-parole period of six years. Advertisement Justice Fullerton said Forrest had been in a position of authority that night, having bathed Bailey after he spent the day at home sick. She said Bailey had been treated in hospital days earlier for a black eye and other injuries, but she could not positively find those wounds were inflicted by Forrest. "On the night Bailey was fatally assaulted, he was particularly vulnerable and defenceless given his ill health and the fact he was recovering from injuries days earlier," she said. Bailey's mother, Jessica Constable, previously told the court she was home alone with her son, and he was sick and had a urinary tract infection. She put him to bed before Forrest came home about 9.30pm. She said she had seen Forrest inject himself with speed the night before, and he was "aggravated - anything could make him spark or crack" when he returned home that night. Ms Constable said Bailey called out to say he had wet his bed, and Forrest said he would be "the father figure" and go upstairs to bathe him. She said she heard three "loud bangs"' while Forrest was bathing the boy and a fourth as she was walking towards the bathroom. After each bang, she said Forrest angrily yelled at the boy to "stop it". When Ms Constable stood at the bathroom door she said Bailey "took a step towards me and fell to his knees", and as she was putting on his pyjamas the boy had glassy eyes. Ms Constable said Forrest told her to go back downstairs, and she did out of a fear of being hit. Minutes later, Forrest called out to her. "Bailey was blue on the floor and had four red dots on his forehead. All I could do was scream out his name." She said Forrest shook the child "vigorously" to try and get him to respond, before he conducted CPR. Ms Constable said Forrest had asked her to tell people they put the child in the bath, and came back into the bathroom to find him face down in the water. As the sentence was handed down, members of Bailey's family gasped in disbelief and Forrest angrily gestured as he was taken down to the cells. The earliest date Forrest can be released Read more: http://www.smh.com.au/nsw/six-years-for-fatally-bashing-girlfriends-son-20130419-2i4hq.h |

John Smith...I am trying to make a difference here. How about you save your barbs for someone who cares.
I have posted the Herald article in full, do you want me to read it to you as well? If you have enough gas in your tank write to the Minister about the disgraceful sentence handed down to this mongrel and forget your sensitivities when it comes to me you moron. |

The link was incomplete, Baron. Just a few letters missing from the end - an easy mistake to make. I have fixed it for you here:
http://www.smh.com.au/nsw/six-years-for-fatally-bashing-girlfriends-son-20130419-2i4hq.html In reference to the article itself, the sentence is a disgrace and a solid example of why we need capital punishment reinstated in Australia for animals like this. The short prison sentence that the man received should be reserved for the mother for exposing her son to an unsupervised violent drug addict and her cowardice at putting her own safety (fear of being hit) before the safety of the child that relied on her for protection. |

I wasn't suggesting any such thing, and you know it. I just couldn't figure out what you were getting at with your original, poorly constructed post. It sounded like you were blaming "the mob" for the child being born. It sounded too as if you really hate people who believe in the sanctity of human life, tagging them as the "mob" and generally getting stuck into them. olde.sault wrote on Apr 23rd, 2013 at 8:12am:

Most groups have a particular area of concern that they focus on. Is it really that unusual? A person or an organisation that tries to do too many different things will end up doing none of them properly. And if you reply to any of my posts in the future, could you please get my name right? |
