No I was fully aware of the "not".

Gaddafi was a great leader, I have always said this. He not only held a deeply divided tribal society together for over 40 years in peace, his economic and socialist advancements are famous. If I'm not mistaken, Libya was the most prosperous African nation under his rule.

The intervention in 2011 was an absolute outrage, not to mention illegal under international law. I have spoken at length about this on another forum.
