Hope she won't mind me reporting that cods has had her op and is improving by the day.

Won't be long before she'll be back giving us leftards what for.

She and I don't have much in common politically, but otherwise get on well.

She is a strong, courageous woman and I will welcome her back with open arms. She's fun to banter with.

I have only just seen this thread.... thank you friends and foes... how nice to be missed...

yes I am on the mend using two walking sticks now..its been a tough gig not something I want to so again in a hurry but realize I will at least be fixed unlike some souls who live with bigger problems.. I saw a guy on TV the other night who broke every bone in his body.. and there he was on a trampoline many months later of course..so I feel a bit of a wimp...

but thanks all you nice people..I appreciate your kind words and thoughts...

no worries about that.. thank you muso... its good to be back..when you live alone its a bit like talking to people.. especially when you are house bound not a fun state.I guess the furniture removalists are up at the lodge and I am missing it all.lol.

we are in for interesting time peter...which is probably a good thing. if rudd puts the election back I think he is making a big mistake.. he needs to use his honeymoon time.... dont you think?
