I reported someone for abusing me all the time back in February and they are still a member here.

What have you in mind to stop someone coming back after being barred, they can get another IP address or email account and a new ID won't stop them if they got the other 2. Would you bar them again as soon as it comes to your attention?

Yeah, being abused by nails and the like is no biggie, being reported for doing no more or less than anyone else and watching them continue while I sit on the sidelines is a bit annoying.

Very few posters are banned for good. It's usually a 24 hour or 48 hour ban. Also, you won't usually be informed of what happens.

I agree. Where is your evidence to support the assertion that only one is banned? In an obvious flame war, we usually suspend any/all participants. 

Given that we don't publicise suspensions, do you send PMs to the others asking "hey, were you suspended too?" I seriously doubt it. 

If we publicised it, it would only add fuel to the fire.

Awwwwww so off you go again trying to twist things so its about me and not the dishonest admin that altered it several times and muso who altered it once (so he says). The original poll soren was winning - i was second and then it was altered. As for your personal dislike for polls that outsiders can vote on - too bad so sad. What most of the complainers complain about is not so much the abuse, which at times gets pretty full on, but the humiliation of being constantly caught out posting stupid comments. I agree we all get to do that occasionally but some people do it consistently and seek revenge on their foes by antagonising them into a flame war; which they then report or even better have someone else do it.

Pretty much the only intelligent thing they can manage; so kudos to them for their strategic planning; brickbats for their infantile behaviour.

What most of the complainers complain about is not so must the abuse, which at times gets pretty full on, but the humiliation of being constantly caught out posting stupid comments. I agree we all get to do that occasionally but some people do it consistently and seek revenge on their foes by antagonising them into a flame war; which they then report or even better have someone else do it. Pretty much the only intelligent thing they can manage; so kudos to them for their strategic planning; brickbats for their infantile behaviour.

You can't ask the other person if you are never told the circumstances of your suspension and have no ability to do so during your suspension. Also there is no opportunity to defend yourself against any accusations, to present mitigation or explanation. The Star Chamber decrees, end of conversation.

The best bit is watching others continue abusing people with impunity while you sit on the sidelines.

It's not exactly like a crime. When discussing politics, almost everybody can get hot under the collar. It's easy to let fly an f-bomb or two. A short suspension gives an opportunity to cool down.

Ahhh so tell me anyone that knows - why do some ppl think apologising is a sign of weakness? Is this why abbott and co keep trying to make the government apologise for things they have nothing to do with? What is all this crap? If you wrong someone you should apologise. It doesnt make you "weak" in fact it takes guts to own up to your mistakes.

Seems he didnt mean it anyway though since i asked for an apology about hurting pansis feelings and i matched his criteria.
