Title: Another boat??? Post by pansi1951 on Jul 22nd, 2013 at 3:16pm It seems someone didn't hear about Rudd's business model lol!!! Can we grab Tony's boat phone and find out why this boat is here? Tell them the boats were stopped two days ago. Twenty people on board? it could be dummy run to test the waters, cheap fares of course. |

They'd swim if the boats were stopped
even if we were firing at them from the beaches And they'd be singing Abba: ' Money, money, money ' |

Since when has Rudd had 'policies' ..... of his own ?
Rudd is little Mr New World Order incarnate And if Abbott ever decided to play it straight, he'd be JFK'd in a week ... and he knows it and so should everyone else None of 'our' fake politicians have policies. They surrender their brains to their offshore owners the minute they take their first step up the ladder They do as they're told They mouth scripts emailed to them from their offshore owners' script-writers and dumb Aussies play armchair sportsmen with politics in the same way as footie and cricket It's a joke |

Talk about a forum dedicated to 'forming and shaping opinion' Why would anyone profess to give a sh#t about the boats when the planes ... da planes ... are bringing them in by the thousand, 24/7 Is the boat thing intended as 'distraction' ? Not effing working |

Not that boat, a different one.
I heard it on the channel nine news, but seems they made a mistake, it's the boat that was spotted off Christmas Island two days ago, still missing. So there is one out there somewhere. Maybe they got an sms from Kevin and are heading to PNG. I hope it didn't sink. |

I've read the link, Nappy, and also watched Ch 9 News (just now) which says that this alleged 'new' boat is 'missing.' Anyway, tough tits for the passengers. They now have a choice......Manus Paradus and onto Nirvana, or go back home. Bet they go back home, and re-load. If I were them, I'd drop into Achmed on the way back, and get a refund. |

Nappy, you are supposed to be this ultra switched on person who can tells us all about google and other clevah www stuff, yet it seems you have no idea. I'll help. Until Manus Paradus gets up to scratch, the women and kids won't be sent there. For now.... *Family Meeting* (on Christmas Island.) Do you reckon they'll decide that Dad will go to Manus Paradus, then Mum and the kids will follow (when the place is made more suitable for them) and then all the Family go off happily to beautiful equatorial tropical Paradise PNG, or will they stay together and go back home, and next time, leave Achmed out of their travelling plans? |
Title: Re: Another boat??? Post by pansi1951 on Jul 23rd, 2013 at 6:28am What the heck????? ten boats! Good work with the Vietnamese, they'd be safer in Vietnam than in PNG. People smugglers send 10 new boats to test Prime Minister Kevin Rudd's resolve for PNG solution PEOPLE smugglers are testing Kevin Rudd's new PNG Solution with up to ten boats on their way amid revelations the cost of the first year operation of an expanded Manus Island camp could exceed $1 billion. The expected influx comes as a vessel which was overdue at Christmas Island yesterday was found by Australian rescuers with 30 passengers safe and well. Asylum seekers who have arrived since the deal was signed have broken down in tears when told they would be taken to Manus Island and resettled in PNG. Four boats carrying more than 250 people have arrived since Friday but only single adult men can be sent to PNG immediately with families to remain in Australia until facilities are ready, which could take until next year. A group of 15 Vietnamese asked to be returned home from Manus Island at the weekend with the Australian government to give them hoes, wheelbarrows and shovels and $300 each to encourage them to remain in Vietnam as farmers and not attempt to sail to Australia again. http://www.couriermail.com.au/news/national/people-smugglers-send-10-new-boats-to-test-prime-minister-kevin-rudd8217s-resolve-for-png-solution/story-fnihslxi-1226683407315 |

These 'Turn back the boats assholes (and yes, you are assholes) remind me of the
putrid filth that turned-away Jews fleeing from Hitler, while knowing all along what they were fleeing from. Although not blatantly advertised, it was simply because they were Jews. The current mob of xenophobes are no different, and no better. And I hold them at a similar level of disgust and contempt. |

Rudd's PNG arrangement is doomed to fail in another costly flop that taxpayers will have to foot the bill for... 1. We get more than 800 a week by boat, while the camp in PNG can hold just 300 at a stretch. Expanded accommodation won't be built til next year, so where will Rudd put these people? 2. Only single men over 18 will be sent to PNG, as the facilities there are unsuitable for women and children. Watch for a surge in families with children coming by boat. Also, watch for single men claiming that this woman is his wife and those kids are his. He won't get sent to PNG. 3. Free to roam on PNG, so what's to stop them paying some PNG fisherman to take them the short distance to the Australian mainland? |
Title: Re: Another boat??? Post by pansi1951 on Jul 23rd, 2013 at 7:52am What if ten boats arrive every day? How will we handle that? Time to set up the migrant agricultural scheme here???? What a great new industry, out with drill baby drill!...... in with dig baby dig! it's the only humane thing to do, besides saving us a mint. |
