When I was a young bloke and never been wed, I had a unique process for keeping my tobacco & booze smelling suits fresh for daily wear.
I used to spray them with air freshener and quickly close the wardrobe door.
Maybe it was before dry cleaning, or maybe I didn't have the dough, or maybe I was just dumb.

When my shoes got scuffed, I used to fill in the scuff marks with the same colour texta.

Yuk!

Airing followed by dry cleaning is the only cure for clothes subjected to these awful conditions IMO.

Where I lived never saw much fresh air. I was sharing a house with a mad taxi driver that seemed to be one continuous party.
He used to come home in the middle of the night and start playing his baby grand. I would wake up and join in with my saxophone before going off to my day job.
He was in deep deep debt and he used to sing his final notices while he played the piano.
