there was always on thing I liked with Latham ... you knew exactly what you were getting. There was no political correctness or pretence, he called it as he saw it. Agree with his view or not, you've got to respect a bloke for that, especially in his line of work.

Take yesterdays comment about Abbotts sex appeal comment ... he thinks Abbott had his beer goggles on..... I think lots of blokes thought the same thing when they saw her photo.

Maddog Latham has a giant chip on his shoulder after being told all the time by many in the ALP that he was meant to be the PM, yet he pretty much self destructed.

Its interesting that when the Libs handed the keys over to Abbott he has improved way beyond anyone's expectations ..... I thought he might last a few months and then be replaced, but he has proved himself the best opposition leader by any measure.

Well Salad you original statement against Latham and then indicating that you oppose Labor with some rather graphical reasoning would in a two horse race leave you ultimately in support of the current politician with an almost identical problem to the comment you had made against Latham.

After this election the Leader of Australia will be either Kevin Rudd or a known thug and Latham is not standing.

Where Latham had ideas and direction Rudd and Abbott are reactionary.


Neither Abbott nor Rudd will ever have an original thought in their lives and can not come up with original thought out policy or a change agenda even worth puking on.
