There was no doubt what was going to happen come September.
Then came Kevin, who's from Queensland and is here to help.
The mood evaporated like the storm had gone around to the north. The sun was shining and you could sense people were not thinking so much about politics.
But you can't predict the weather, never mind climate change.
The mood has swung again. There is no longer a mob baying for blood. Instead there is a calm, quiet resolve by the majority that it's time for a change. That the ALP has had its chance, that Kevin is really just a show pony and there's been enough of that already.
The mood has also turned for Tony Abbott. The people don't love him but they have decided to give him a go. And they have decided in bigger numbers than the polls would suggest.

Trust me, I just want you to be prepared for the inevitable.

This election is clinically dead if you ask me, since its finally been announced all that has happened is people stop listening to Rudd, I don't think they are listening to Abbott as he neither has anything inspirational to say.

The Coalition is relying on the ALP performance and lacking credibility of the ALP.

What I find interesting is Kevin this time around is not much of a campaigner going hard on the negatives and getting his facts wrong, he even referred to the makeup artist as Tilly ???

Much of Rudd's negative attack strategy is an absolute failure as its been over 6 years since Abbott was a minister, all Rudd can do is throw out BS and see if it sticks.

Voters were flirting with a majority ultra right parliament yet realised this is danger danger danger. And now the conservative vote has crashed and Libs are on the verge of grabbing defeat thanks to abbott's lost of control revealing he has an anger management issue last night.

Best thing conservatives could do until after the election is hide angry tony.

the tiny bit of POWER gillard gave them went straight to their heads.. the same in the senate why are they running so many for the senate... because thats where they FEEL THEIR REAL POWER.. IS.... and they are right... 

but its got bugger all to do with the country its all about the quaint old fashioned ideas....ones that run on a shoestring [at least thats what they think ::)] and have almost nothing to do with reality...

saving the Whales for instance as wonderful,as these beasts are.. imagine what will happen if there is no culling of these animals.. whaling which has gone on for centuries....suddenly they will multiply and just keep on multiplying..I would think it would only be a matter of time before we find them starving to death who knows thats why they beac h themselves..its a form of culling as food is scarce..... they dont eat everything do they?

On full view of the whole country, Abbott revealed he is a angry man and when he doesn't get his way he explodes.

This is why he can not negotiate and why the conservative independents didn't side with him.

if the greens and labor didn't piss away 300 billion dollars and leaving us with a 8 BILLION dollar per annum interest bill we wouldn't be talking about about cuts and taxes at all..

Greens were not government. Greens held joint control in the house of review.

Greens worked to moderated and did a great job considering how hostile angry abbott was.

Given the opportunity, Greens will do just as well holding the balance in the next term.
