MORE than one million people have already voted and the early signs are good for Tony Abbott. The Australian Electoral Commission revealed yesterday more than 130,000 people have voted in pre-poll booths and 994,156 by postal votes. Of the postal votes received by the Australian Electoral Commission, more than 27 per cent have been ballots mailed out by the Coalition, compared to 12 per cent from the ALP. The majority have been AEC issued ballot papers. In Prime Minister Kevin Rudd's own electorate 47 per cent of postal voters so far have used the Coalition-issued ballot paper. |

If you want to vote postal go to the post office and get a application for postal vote and send that in, don't use the one that the political parties send out because it is a scam, or use the one that they send out put it in another envelope and send it to your electoral office. Quote:

I got one from Michael McCormack my sitting National Party Member, and guess what you are paying for it by the politicians postal allowance. Why can't all other candidates that are standing get a allowance to do the same thing? It isn't a level playing field, that is why all politicians expense should stop once a election is called. |

I compare going into politics like entering the rugby field, you have to be able to give and receive the knocks. Rudd's desperation with a media that does not like him much puts him in the position Abbott has been in for a very long time, yet you don't see Abbott bitching like a little girl ...... what Rudd is doing. What bemuses me about the media is that the obvious attacks are coming from News but Fairfax seems to be doing a more thorough job on him. It was the complete opposite back in 2007, the media was groping the guy, could not get enough of him, but the electorate back then was also ready to unload on a coalition past its use by date. |

Don't let anyone kid you Murdoch is opposed to Rudd
The claim Murdoch was against Rudd was just another angle on the 'underdog' spin The whore media is pooping itself over the way things are going. Rudd-Labor are so far down in the real polls that it's terrifying them. Which is why they're lying with the 52% to 48%. The truth is horrifying and more like 66% Libs win with Labor being wiped almost off the board |

this is another reason I say that Australians are Politically Retarded... use by date? what a load of crap... !!! so people based their votes on the fact that Howard had been in for a long time... like durrrrr we had money in the bank and in our pockets, we had jobs, we didn't have such stupidity like the carbon tax and the only grumblings we got was from Costello because he wanted "his turn" as boss... oh, those were the days.. |
