Title: I've got a dog like Kevin
Post by bogarde73 on Sep 20th, 2013 at 10:12am
I know he's over & done with (but can we ever be sure?) and ought to be allowed to rest in peace.
But I don't mean to be offensive here, it's just something I realised this morning.
Four little terriers I have, of doubtful parentage, three of which generally behave themselves.
UNLESS the other one stirs them up into a frenzy, then all hell & chaos breaks loose (sound familiar?)

In fact he's manic - the dog that is. He just runs about, back & forth, without any purpose and he barks for no reason as well. It seems to me he is thinking there could be something around worth barking at so why not. And when he goes troppo the rest of them follow him.
But after a short while they get sick of being disturbed about a lot of rubbish and they give him a good thumping (sound familiar?)

If I'd known what was coming all those years ago I would have called him Kevin.

The real question here is why do you own so many annoying, yapping dogs that only poofters and teenage socialites want to be seen with?

will your dog respond the the greatest moral challenge of our time ?

Does it present a valid programmatic specificity ?

Well I inherited most of them from others who couldn't keep them.
I'm so far away from neighbours that's not a problem.
He won't stand still long enough for me to ask about the greatest moral challenge . . .he keeps yapping something like gotta zip.

PZ 547 on Rudd:

Quote:
I don't 'hate' him. Hate is way too personal a term. I don't personally know him

However, I do detest him

It's my personal opinion that Rudd is mentally unstable

The way he speaks, for one: that 'Schoolkid reading a book to the class' voice he uses. It's not normal. It's not manly. It's affected. He sounds like a precocious ten-year old who's in love with himself

Then there are the Transvestite-type asides which he injects into his Schoolkid-Reading-a-Book style monologues about himself -- when he inserts what he appears to believe is Bruce Willis type 'menace' .... as in his lowered voice as he hissed, 'It's not going to happen' --- accompanied by a glare like a bitter old auntie who's cake got second-prize at the fete

* All the posturing
* the monologues about himself -- always about him
* the Bates Motel type voices and facial tics
* the self-pity -- invariably when he's caused the problem himself
* the blaming of others - when he's to blame
* the attempts to sound like fifty different people simultaneously
* the venom
* the anger
* the weirdness
* the petulance
* the temper tantrums, like a spoiled brat
* his utter self-absorption to the exclusion of everyone, everything else
* his self-promotion - which isn't matched by reality
* his vengefulness
* his spitefulness
* his unfettered, massive, beyond belief size ego
* his conceit
* his impotence
* his self-serving disloyalty

Just the sight -- let alone the sound -- of Rudd blathering on endlessly about himself ... is enough to cause me to switch off the tv

He seems to believe he is a combination of Churchill, Menzies, JFK, Caesar, Einstein, John Wayne and an entire battalion of Rhodes Scholars, plus

He seems to believe it his destiny to be the ultimate, entire-world's Grand Statesman

To me, Rudd is an impotent, gender-confused little twat who spent (and spends) WAY too much time with himself, envisioning himself as an acknowledged mental and political Giant. In other words, it's my belief he's delusional -- is extremely fantasy-prone -- is literally IN LOVE WITH HIMSELF. To the point I suspect he probably kisses his own reflection in mirrors and hogs the bathroom in order to do so constantly

I think he's mad as a hatter and I'm glad he's been shot down, hopefully for good and in time for an army of psychiatrists to put him in a padded cell for the duration

So I don't know why others hate him

but above are my opinions of him

I think he's nuts -- flat out nuts

Maybe you could get a real dog like a German Shepard, call him Tony and let him maul three of the little poofter dogs.  The one remaining poofter dog you can call Chrissy Pyne.

Actually I should add this. Although I see behavioural similarities between this dog, Ted his name is, and Kevin, on the intelligence side there is no comparison.

You thought I was going to say Ted's a lot smarter didn't you. No, not at all. As dog's go, Ted is in the bottom quartile but I'd say Kevin is a pretty smart cookie.
It's just that all that intelligence has been so wasted.

Tony would be more likely to be associated with the previous Liberal PM's namesake.

Perhaps he's a gay teenage socialite.

Not that there's anything wrong with that.

I've got a dog like Kevin,
He's blonde and smarmy mate,
He followed Julia faithfully,
Then kicked her out the gate.

He stood aside to let her in,
He took it all in stride,
When Labor made her a statement
He bottled it up inside.

While others cried 'misogyny'
He stood aside and slept
And when Jules fell upon her sword
Back in the door he crept.

And sallied forth no fear
Upon the 'lection trail
And what he managed beyond words
Was nothing but a 'Fail'.

ADDS:-  That's not poetry - I believe it's called (wait for it)  Doggerel  (ta-bomp.. tishhhhhh)....

The dog called Kevin is still nipping at the heels of the pretenders.  Wait until a leader is (finally) elected and then see kevin start his destabilisation routine.
