Title: Question about forum
Post by Winston Smith on Sep 25th, 2013 at 6:09pm
There are 2 issues I regularly encounter on this forum.

1. Posts that have been made won't show up in the thread view for a random amount of time or until someone else posts.

2. After I click something, there is sometimes a lot of what appears to be scripts or redirects attempting to run, which can go on for lengthy amounts of time before loading the page I want.

Why does this only happen on some forums?

Why does it need to happen on this forum?

It's happening right now, took me ages to load a couple of pages and there's a reply to a thread I started that I can't read or reply to because it's invisible within the thread.

you are probably b est to check the Feedback board winston..its the one that goes to FD or another mod..

the problem with page turning over has been going on for a while.. and yes your right it only affects some threads.. or seems too.. I dont count

FD said something about 15 posts and then it sticks..its happening to everyone you are not alone..

but check out feedback this has been talked about.

Wow another few minutes of a page trying to reload. More posts in threads that I can't see. Why does this happen on only a few forums? Surely it's not rocket science.

Ok I have a look, highly annoying though and a perfect example of simple technology not working in our favour.

Looks like that time of the day again. This time I can't access any of the post editing functions. Is there a table of random malfunctions and some sort of RNG that determines which one we have each night? :-/
