You might be surprised at how much anti-semitism is out there. The only problem is if the Jewish Council of Australia gets wind of it - they might shut the whole of Ozpolitic down. For such a minority religious group in Australia - they have a great deal of influence.

"pro Israel" can mean different things to different people. Just like the word "zionism". Does it mean support for the existence of the jewish state per se, or does it mean support for the Israeli government's aggressive policies related to expanding settlements and extending Israel so that it encompasses the whole of historical Palestine? Extremist zionists will refuse to acknowledge a difference between the two, while the more moderate pro Israelis will push for a secure and defensible homeland for the jews, next to a viable homeland for the Palestinians - while condemning the aggressive expansionist policies of the Israeli right.

Surprisingly, I tend to find jews themselves more ammenable to the latter position, while the extremist pro-zionist position is held more by right wing non-jews.

Yes there is a difference and quite a few non Jewish RW's are not discerning either and will lump the two groups together. It's not hard to find moderate Jews on google holding placards supporting an independent Palestine.

There is also another primitive ritualistic Jew who beats his wife, packs her off to another part of the house when she has a period and goes around practicing a voodoo of sorts. Slavery is also an accepted practice. The list of their religious shortcomings is extensive.

Zygier's cell was 'intended to kill', says ex-prisoner

An Israeli man jailed over the 1995 assassination of Israeli Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin has provided a rare glimpse into the cell where Melbourne man Ben Zygier, known as prisoner X, ended his life.

Hagay Amir served more than 16 years in jail for being an accomplice to his fellow right-wing extremist brother Yigal, who remains in prison for life for Rabin's murder.

In his first interview since his release, Hagay Amir said he was permitted to visit his brother in the purpose-built isolation cell in the maximum security Ayalon Prison in Tel Aviv.

It is the same cell where the Australian-born alleged Mossad agent Ben Zygier was found dead in 2010.

Israel has drawn a veil of secrecy over everything regarding Ben Zygier so tight that not only was there a gag order on the existence of ''prisoner X'', but there was also a gag order that barred journalists from even mentioning the gag order.

At the time even his jailers did not know who he was or what he had done. It was not until Zygier's suicide was exposed by the ABC's Foreign Correspondent program, that his existence came to light.

"Yes, they murdered him, it's clear, or drove him to suicide," Amir claims.

He takes out a pen and carefully draws a bird's-eye view plan of the cell where Zygier was kept: a five by three metres cell with a shower and a toilet hidden by a low partition and an adjoining courtyard. There are closed-circuit cameras in the ceiling and a complex series of doors and corridors.

"This is a cell that was intended to kill its resident," Amir says. "They wanted him to die and he died.

"They say that he committed suicide. It's all rubbish, all lies. To get to you in an emergency would take over 15 minutes just to unlock the gates. There are, let's see," he consults his sketch, "one, two, three, four locked gates until you get to your cell. By that time you can be mummified.

''If you're not infused with faith or an ideal to sustain you, a place like that would be very difficult to live in,'' he said.

''Most people would not stand such isolation. It is cruelty beyond the imagination."

A spokesperson for the Israel Prison Service refused to comment on Amir's allegations, on account of their general nature and the fact that they refer to incidents that ''supposedly happened in the distant past''.

Daniel Hayman charged over child sex at Bondi's Jewish Yeshiva centre

Sydney detectives have charged a businessman with child sexual abuse offences at Bondi's Jewish Yeshiva centre during the 1980s.

A 49-year-old man was arrested on Monday afternoon in the suburb of Queens Park in Sydney's east and later charged with two counts of gross indecency against 14 and 16 year old males at the Jewish Centre in 1985 and 1986...

...detectives want people with further information about the alleged 1980s offences to come forward.

Fairfax Media has confirmed the arrested man is Daniel Hayman, who has been residing in Los Angeles in recent years.

The arrest and charging of Hayman overnight is likely to put some of Australia's most senior rabbinical figures under scrutiny over their failures to act on complaints from victims.

Despite complaints, Hayman was never reported to police and left Australia to live in Los Angles Jewish community, where  leaders again acted to shield him.

Corporate records show Hayman was a director of a major Australian Jewish educational arm for several years after his alleged sexual abuse of boys.

Fairfax Media has previously revealed that Hayman recently told one of his alleged victims that Yeshiva spiritual leader Rabbi Pinchus Feldman had admonished him about 25 years ago over his relationship with a boy.

The leader of the Organisation of Rabbis of Australasia, Moshe Gutnick, in March revealed he failed to alert police to an anonymous complaint about Hayman in the 1980s...

...Fairfax also revealed this year an audio recording of another senior Australian rabbi discussing Hayman's alleged interaction with boys or adolescents.

In the tape recording, Rabbi Baruch Lesches said some of Hayman's alleged victims may have consented. :o

Rabbi Lesches, who was at Bondi Yeshiva at the time of the alleged incidents and now is a major New York Jewish leader, also cautioned against reporting Hayman to police.

He later apologised for his private remarks after Fairfax released the audio of his discussion about Hayman.

Two recent convictions of men associated with Melbourne's Yeshiva college in St Kilda for historic child sex offences have put the spotlight on the attitudes Australia's senior orthodox Jewish leaders to handling abuse claims.

Victorian detectives are investigating how senior St Kilda Yeshiva figures handled complaints against David Kramer and David Cyprus, who were both employed by the school.

Strike Force Bungo was formed last year to investigate child sexual abuse in the Jewish community in Sydney's east. Hayman is alleged to have abuse the boys while a volunteer supervisor at a camp run by the Yeshiva centre.

Palestinian Brit trying to volunteer in Bethlehem interrogated for five hours at Ben Gurion airport[/size]


Anonymous, 18, is a Greek-Palestinian British student who lives in London. The author usually goes to Jordan every 2 years, but never had the chance to go to Palestine and hoped to this year as part of a volunteering program. Knowing there would be difficulties at the airport, but never expected what happened. Anonymous says, “What shocked me that even though I had a British passport they still gave me a hard time, I felt like I was a criminal.”

I’m an 18 year old student, born and raised in London. Throughout my whole life my parents have brought me up to be proud of my Palestinian roots, I was brought up listening to stories from my father and grandparents about Ain Karem, my village.  It has always been a dream of mine to be able to visit my homeland, Palestine, and this year in October I had the opportunity to finally go, I was going to go to the Palestinian territories to volunteer in a school in Bethlehem. I was told to not tell the Israeli authority the real purpose of my visit to Palestine, activists and volunteers are usually not allowed to enter Israel. I knew that I was going to face many problems at Ben Gurion airport, due to my Palestinian background.

I arrived at Ben Gurion airport, I showed my passport to the lady at border control, she looked at my name on my British passport and immediately she called border security. I was escorted by two security men to a waiting room. After 30 minutes a man called me to his office, the questions he asked were:

“Where was your father born?”

“Where was your grandfather born?”

“What is your father’s name?

“What is your grandfather’s name?”

“What is your great grandfather’s name?”

“Which part of Israel are you from?”

Then they asked me what the purpose of my trip to Israel was, I told them that I was visiting Israel for tourism. The first part of the interrogation had finished. My legs and arms were shaking, but I made sure that I didn’t show them that I was frightened.

Two hours had gone by and I was still waiting, a second man called me in to another room for questioning, this time I could sense that they were going to be really tough. I walked into the room and there was also another man sitting in the background. Again the man asked me the same questions. However this time they wanted all the details of my stay. I was prepared for these questions, at this point the Israeli authority still thought that I was in Israel for tourism. They asked me: “where are you going to stay?” I told them that I was planning to stay at a hotel in Jerusalem. They also asked me why me parents didn’t come with me, how much money I had on me. They also wanted contact details of my family in Jordan. I refused to give them such details.

The man then told me, write my e-mail address on a piece of paper. “Can you write your email address and password for us?” I simply replied, “No mate, I don’t think so, that’s illegal.” He just laughed and took my email address only (they still managed to hack into my personal email either way).

The interrogation stopped for 45 minutes and a different man came into the room to ask me further questions. He sat down, looked at me in the eyes and said “You’re a liar.” At this point I knew that they had hacked into my email account and seen my emails to the Palestinian volunteering organisation. The man then said to me:

“I know you lied, see the man at the back, he’s a psychologist and he was examining your body language throughout the whole process… why did you lie about your volunteering placement?”

My reply: “It’s not really my fault to be honest, you people give the impression that you want to kill any Palestinian activist or volunteer, this is why all people lie to you. I’m not stupid I know that you detained me because of my Arabic name.” His eyes turned red from anger. He banged his hand on the table and told me to be careful or I will be on the blacklist.

He quickly left the room and after an hour two women came in and asked me the same questions but in different ways. At this point I wasn’t scared, it just turned into a joke for me. They asked me:

“Why did your mum marry your dad? She’s non-Arab.”

I replied, “erm because she fancied him.” I could tell that they were getting agitated.

Then they asked me “Why did your dad move to London?”

I replied “because he wanted to be closer to the London eye,” and they looked at each other and said something in Hebrew.

They then asked me specific questions about my family in Jordan. “Which exact area was your dad born in?” My reply was, “Look guys I don’t know, I know you know the answer to that because you have my whole family history in your computer system so why waste my time in asking me these questions, just check in your computer, so I can find out myself.” They looked at me and just laughed, they then left.

I was in that room for at least 3 hours, I was not allowed to contact anyone, I was more worried with the fact that the taxi driver waiting for me might have left. After an hour another two men took me in for questioning, again, same questions were asked, we were just going around in circles, the Israeli authorities aim to make you nervous, but I didn’t care. At that point it was all a joke for me.

After five hours I finally got my Israeli Visa. As I walked out of the departures area, I started to panic because I could not see the

Victorian Jewish group faces new allegations of child sexual abuse

New allegations of child sexual abuse have emerged in Victoria's Jewish community.

In a statement, the welfare group says it has been contacted by three people alleging they were abused in children's homes in the 1960s.

Community organisation Jewish Care Victoria says it has informed police about the allegations.

The charity has set up its own independent support scheme to investigate the historic claims.

In a statement, Jewish Care Victoria president Mike Debinski says they have a moral responsibility to look into allegations given the former welfare groups who ran the homes no longer exist.

"We do not seek to sweep this issue under the carpet," he said.

"The board and management at Jewish Care Victoria condemn any form of child abuse particularly when it is perpetrated by those in positions of trust and authority," he said in a statement.

Manny Waks, from advocacy group Tzedek, says it is likely other people will come forward.

"I can already tell you that I understand that there is someone else, at least one other victim, which I can't go into any details about how I know this, but there is another alleged victim already that I'm aware of," he said.

"I have no doubt that there would be others as well.

"They've done the right thing and we're working closely with them in following up these cases."

Melbourne Jewish leader charged over child sex offences

A former leader at a Melbourne Jewish youth organisation has been charged with child sex offences.

Aaron Kestecher, also known as Ezzy, faced Melbourne Magistrates Court this morning over allegations he abused two boys, including one who was under his care.

Kestecher, 28, is believed to have been a leader of the Chabad Youth group and worked as a substitute teacher at Yeshivah College in East St Kilda.

The offences, including sexual penetration of a child under 16 and other indecent acts, are alleged to have taken place between June 2009 and March 2010.

It has been alleged that the incidents took place at one address in East St Kilda, and at another undisclosed location.

The committal mention hearing was adjourned until December 2 to allow the investigating police officer to take more statements.

UN Economic and Finance Committee Demands Israel End Occupation of Arab Lands, Including Syrian Golan, and Cease Violations International Law


New York, The UN Economic and Finance Committee (ECOFIN) demanded that Israel end its occupation of Arab lands including the occupied Syrian Golan and cease its violations of human rights and international law including the Fourth Geneva Convention.

Extreme hatred of everything non-Jewish seems to be ingrained in the blood of Zionist Israeli Jews. This hatred is expressed by their warmongering politicians, their terrorist army, their fundamentalist rabbis, and their extremist civilians starting from their children up to their elderly of both sexes.  They spew out this hatred against everything Palestinian; people, homes, and fields.  Last few years they have developed what could be called a yearly terrorist harvest ritual where they target Palestinian harvest products particularly the olive trees.

Palestine has been very well known for citrus products on its coastal line and vine and olives on its hills. Palestinians are mainly farmers, who depend on agriculture with olive production comprising about 25% of income for almost 100,000 families. Olive trees, many as old as 5,000 years, are spread all over Palestine and keep yielding plenty of olives year after year. Nearly 48% of the agricultural land of occupied Palestine is planted with 10 million olive trees; the vast majority is in the West Bank. The yearly economic revenue of the olive harvest used to total $100 million. The olive oil industry, alone, makes up to 14% of the agricultural income for Palestinians, and supports the livelihood of almost 80,000 families.  For Palestinians olive tree is a national symbol of resilience, steadfastness, and attachment to the land.  For the whole world an olive branch is a symbol of peace.

Yet this symbol of peace has become the main target for destruction by every Israeli especially the religiously extremist armed squatters, who forcefully occupy Palestinian land, mainly hill tops, and build their illegal colonies/settlements. During every harvest those colonizers attack Palestinian farmers, prevent them from cultivating their land and harvesting their own crops. The Israeli military has the practice of preventing Palestinian farmers from accessing their field claiming them as military areas. While denying access to the Palestinian farmers, Israeli colonizers descend on the area, and under the protection of the army they steal the Palestinian olive crops. When done, many times, they cut the trees with gas-chain saws down to the bare trunks, spray chemicals on the trees, set the whole field ablaze, and uproot the trees with their own bulldozers.

Young Jewish thug colonizers/settlers have developed the game of torching Palestinian fruit trees especially olive trees. They would set ablaze one small field initially to get Palestinian farmers and the fire department busy in that area, then they target a larger area far away on the other side. By the time the fire engines get to the second fire, hundreds of olive trees would have burnt.

When in some areas Palestinian farmers, with the help of ISM (International Solidarity Movement) volunteers gain access to the fields and start picking up their olives, armed thugs from the nearby illegally Israeli colonies attack them causing some injuries and at times shooting dead anyone who tries to stop them. This happens under the watchful eyes of Israeli soldiers, who stand by ready to protect the assailant Israeli thugs. Many Palestinian farmers had complained to, and requested protection from the Palestinian Authority and from the Israeli police. Yet the Palestinian Authority is miserably helpless and can barely protect itself, while the Israeli police ignore most of these complaints and protect the Israeli thugs rather than Palestinian farmers. At least 90% of Palestinian complaints against settler’s thugs have been closed without any indictment or even simple investigation. Such an act promotes a culture of impunity that encourages and contributes to settlers’ continued attack.

The Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) had reported in 2011 that the number of settlers attacks resulting in Palestinian casualties and property damage has increased by 32% in 2011 compared to 2010, and by over 144% compared to 2009. The report states that during 2011 the settlers had damaged or destroyed about 10,000 Palestinian-owned trees, primarily olive trees, which significantly undermined the livelihoods of hundreds of Palestinian families.  In 2012 OCHA reported that 7,500 olive trees belonging to Palestinians were damaged or destroyed by Israeli settlers in the West Bank between January and mid October 2012. In Gaza Strip the Israeli military operations had leveled 7,300 dunums of land that were previously planted with olive trees. In 2013 OCHA has recorded the damage or destruction of over than 9,400 olive trees, so far, compared to 8,500 in all of 2012.  Many other settlers’ attacks go unreported.

The Israeli army had also adopted a policy of destroying Palestinian agricultural assets along with the destruction of Palestinian homes and the cold blood murder of their children. Top Rabbi at celebrity Kabbalah center 'molested student then threatened to kill her'



A Rabbi at the famed Los Angeles Kabbalah Center, attended by stars including Madonna and Ashton Kutcher, has been accused of sexually assaulting and threatening a woman.

Yehuda Berg, the co-director of the center, is being sued by Jena Scaccetti, who claimed that her former spiritual adviser had groped her in October 2012.

Ms Scaccetti alleged that when she rejected his advances, Berg became angry and said he would 'f***ing kill' her.

Berg allegedly started to ask inappropriate questions, asking Ms Scaccetti if she had a Brazillian wax or if she was shaved. He then started to hug her and touch her legs, she claims.

Ms Scaccetti is suing for $1.5 million as well as $40 million in punitive damages.

Berg and the Kabbalah Center have not yet responded to a Mail Online request for comment.

The settlers were led by the radical Rabbi Yehuda Glick, who is the former head of the Temple Institute. He was accompanied by a journalist on Thursday who carried a camera to document the attack, while settlers reportedly engaged in verbal altercations with angry Muslim worshipers defending the mosque. Witnesses reported that Rabbi Glick returned to storm the Al-Aqsa Mosque twice on Friday, joined by groups of Jewish settlers whom he lectured to about the alleged Temple.

The settlers have now become accustomed to storming the mosque regularly, usually touring around the yards starting from the Mughrabi Gate and then going to Al-Marwani Mosque, Rahma Gate, Al-Asbat Gate and King Faisal Gate until the Alqtanin Gate, exiting from Al-Selselah Gate. However, this is the first incident where the settlers have climbed the Dome of the Rock Mosque.

The General Director of Muslim Endowments and Al-Aqsa Mosque Affairs, Sheikh Azzam Al-Khatib, has condemned the incident and described it as a provocative and dangerous step. Meanwhile, the Islamic-Christian Committee to support Jerusalem and its holy sites issued a press statement affirming that the incident represents "a flagrant violation against places of worship" and pointing out that the Israeli occupation authorities have almost completed their efforts to Judaise Al-Aqsa Mosque and its surroundings and are preparing to announce it as a Jewish synagogue.

In related news, Israeli occupation forces arrested three young Palestinian men from inside Al-Aqsa Mosque on Thursday and took them to a police station in the occupied city of Jerusalem.

Israeli forces attack Al-Aqsa mosque


JERUSALEM: Intense clashes have erupted around Al-Aqsa mosque after numerous Israeli settlers, along with the Israeli forces have stormed Al-Aqsa Mosque compound repeatedly over last two days, and on Thursday even climbed the Dome of the Rock mosque. The Israeli forces fired gas grenades at the worshipers inside the mosque. The imam of the Al-Aqsa mosque, Mohamed Hussian has condemned the attack on, what considered as, Islam’s holiest places. Al-Aqsa mosque is known to Jews as ‘Temple Mount.’


The settlers were led by the Rabbi Yehuda Glick, who is the former head of the Temple Institute. The Muslim worshipers gathered to defend the mosque and threw stones in retaliation of the gas grenades fired by the Israeli army. The Muslims chanted “We sacrifice our blood and souls for you, Aqsa!”

“It is a violation against Al-Aqsa mosque and the Israeli authorities are responsible, because they order their soldiers to raid the mosque violently, they are responsible for all what is happening in Al-Aqsa mosque,” said Hussian, the imam of the Al-Aqsa mosque.

On Friday, Israeli forces forcefully cleared the week long protest carried out by Palestinians at protest camp in the Jordan valley near the occupied West Bank city of Ramallah against Israel’s refusal to pull out of the area in any future peace deal.

Israeli police spokesperson Micky Rosenfeld claimed that the Israeli security forces responded to provocative stone throwing at them by the Muslim worshipers inside the mosque. However, General Director of Muslim Endowments and Al-Aqsa Mosque Affairs, Sheikh Azzam Al-Khatib has rejected these claims and said that the historical evidences show that Israeli forces have always tried to irk the Muslims and have mercilessly killed thousands of Palestinians.

In his book Goliath, The Electronic Intifada contributor Max Blumenthal writes that such so-called “trophy” photos have a long tradition in many military forces, including Israel’s.

Blumenthal recalls a series of such photographs released several years ago by Breaking the Silence, an Israeli group which documents testimonies of Israeli soldiers while protecting their identities:


Among the disturbing shots culled from Facebook pages belonging to young Israelis was a photo of four smiling troops towering over a blindfolded preadolescent Palestinian girl kneeling at the point of their machine guns; a pretty female soldier smiling winsomely beside a blindfolded Palestinian man cuffed to a plastic chair; two soldiers posing triumphantly above a disheveled corpse lying in the street like a piece of discarded trash; a soldier pumping his rifle in the air directly behind an older Palestinian woman tending to pots on her kitchen stove; a soldier defacing the walls of a home in Gaza by spray-painting a star of David and the phrase, “Be Right Back”; troops in the Gaza Strip playing with and posing beside corpses stripped half nude in acts of post-mortem humiliation; a young soldier mockingly applying makeup from a Pal- estinian woman’s dresser. The Facebook pages were so replete with documents of humiliation, domination, and violence it seemed that army basic training had been led by Marquis de Sade.

Blumenthal sees these images as documents of a “colonial culture in which Jewish Israeli youth became conditioned to act as sadistic overlords toward their Palestinian neighbors, and of a perpetual conquest that demanded indoctrination” beginning “at an early age” and continuing “perpetually throughout their lives.”

Yet another Jew caught red-handed manufacturing "anti-Semitism"


Most of you reading here are probably familiar with the many examples in which Jews themselves are caught red-handed spray painting "anti-Semitic" and anti-Israel graffiti, slogans, and symbols in public places in order to manufacture "anti-Semitism", perpetuating the Jews' "victimhood" and "persecuted people" status - a central aspect of Jewish identity.

Once again, a Jewish student in New York was found guilty of spray painting "anti-Semitic" graffiti in public, as the Jewish Telegraph Agency recently reported:

A Long Island yeshiva student was charged with repeatedly scrawling anti-Semitic graffiti inside a commuter train station.

Jonathan Schuster, 18, a senior at Priority-1: Torah Academy of Lawrence-Cedarhurst, in Cedarhurst, N.Y.,was charged with the crimes on Thursday

He admitted to using black marker to write anti-Semitic statements, often including expletives, on eight occasions since December 2012, police told Newsday.

The boy, who lives in Far Rockaway, Queens, has no previous criminal record. The vandalism, at the Cedarhurst Long Island Railroad Station, mostly occurred at night, with the graffiti consisting of obscenities directed at Orthodox Jews scrawled on train platform billboards or station signs. On one occasion, a swastika was etched into the wall of a platform shelter. [...]


Typical Jewish behavior: constantly reinforcing and perpetuating their own "persecuted people" and "victimhood" status, usually by entirely fabricating or deceitfully exaggerating anti-Jewish sentiment, in order to keep their own people in line with the international messianic Talmudic agenda of world domination and subjugation.

These sorts of propaganda stunts also serve to reinforce and perpetuate this false narrative of Jewish history - one of unjustified "persecution" and "hatred", when in reality genuine anti-Jewish sentiment has always erupted due to Jewish behavior, criminality, subversion, and agitation - to the non-Jewish community as well.

UN investigator: Israeli occupation turned to ethnic cleansing

UN human rights investigator Richard Falk has criticized Israel for ‘ethnic cleansing’ of Palestinians as more than 11,000 have lost their right to live in al-Quds (Jerusalem) since 1996.

"The realities on the ground are worsening from the point of view of both international law and from the point of view of the Palestinian people," Richard Falk, an 82-year-old American who is an emeritus law professor at Princeton University, told reporters.

Falk is due to step down this month as the UN Human Rights Council's monitor for the Palestinian territories taken over by Israeli regime in 1967 -- the West Bank, Gaza Strip and East al-Quds.

Since he was appointed in 2008, he repeatedly criticized the Israeli regime as it built more settlements in Palestinian territories, imposed "collective punishment" on Gaza, demolished homes and repeatedly deployed "excessive force".

The UN investigator said Israel was engaged in "systematic and continued effort to change the ethnic composition of East Jerusalem" by voiding Palestinians' residence permits, confiscating property and allowing unlawful Israeli settlements there.

This is systematic discrimination on the basis of ethnic identity, with the objective of creating a different demographic in al-Quds, he said, calling it a form of "ethnic cleansing".

"All of these features that are objectionable from the point of view of international law have continued and intensified during my six years," he said.
"What is called occupation is now more widely understood to be a form of annexation, the embodiment of apartheid in the sense that there's a discriminatory dual system of law, giving legal protection to the Israeli settlers and subjecting the Palestinian population under occupation to a continuing existence without rights," he added.

Falk has repeatedly locked horns with Israel, the United States, Canada and some human rights groups for positions including labelling Israel's 2008 offensive against Gaza a war crime, and urging a boycott of companies helping Israel's settlement drive in the Palestinian territories.

Washington has said he should quit his UN role, which like other rights monitors at the world body he holds on an unpaid, voluntary basis.

Falk has brushed off the criticism.
"Anyone who is 10 percent objective would come to similar conclusions about international law and international morality to the conclusions I've reached on the main issues that are in contention," he said.
He also rejects claims of anti-Semitism, saying they are defamatory and hurtful given that he is Jewish himself.
He said that personal attacks were an attempt to "shift the conversation from the message to the messenger" and part of the "politics of deflection".
