Title: The government needs Matty
Post by Karnal on Nov 30th, 2013 at 8:09pm
The Libs are in, leftards. Mr Abbott has tried governing for all Australians - except the leftards. They can go suck Mr Abbott’s slug.

But let’s face it, things are not going well. Mr Abbott tried stable, predictable government, steady as she goes, but no luck. He tried no-nonsense, trustworthy government that Australians could rely on, no luck there either. Say what you’ll do, do what you say, under-promise and over-deliver - none of it worked.

Matty has played his cards well. His timing has always been impeccable, showing great patience and restraint. He could have contested a seat at the last election, but chose instead to wait and see. The longer Matty waits, it seems, the more his power grows. Time is on Matty’s side.

Now, the Libs need Matty more than ever. It’s a question all great leaders have faced. Should Matty throw his hat in the ring, or should he wait for the inevitable tap on the shoulder?

Thoughts, please.

Do you have proof of that?

The Libs ARE in.

And what they've inherited, after they've looked into that locked Labor closet, has literally taken their breath away.

It just might take them more than one term in office to redress the shambles left by the previous ring-around-the-rosy bunch of incompetents.

Suck it up people - we've got debts to pay.

The Liberals have a spending platform - they do not intend to pay debts and in fact Hockey is asking for $200 Billion increase to the debt level which is $130 Billion more than required till 2017.

The libs have projected a surplus in 2024 and committed to finance their promises before looking to get a surplus.

The only thing Hockey will do is to make the debt worse and its no accident it is their plan.

Feel free to comment.

Perhaps you might like to read this article from the SMH:

Baby-boomers represent a looming problem - quite apart from current deficits.

Etc, etc, etc.

The Libs have big spending plans in place. Money for Qantas, money for Clive’s ports and mines, money for Gina’s hole, Australia is open for business again.

Of course we can’t afford silly scientists or teachers or help for the spastics or any of that nonsense.

Each illegal sent to Nauru is another car off the M4. They are stopping, they are stopping, and they will be stopped. There’s your welfare right there, Australia.

Yes, leftards, stable, government, steady as she goes, the grown-ups back in charge.

It’s finally time for Matty.

No doubt you have said something sensible, but only by mistake.

Didn't know Gina's hole was for sale or even rent. Who the f#ck would want it? The mere thought is repulsive.

The Libs need Matty more than ever, leftards. He’s become the Scarlett Pimpernel of modern Australian politics.

But will he help them out? That’s the question on everyone’s lips.

If Matty waits too long, the Greens might be in power.

Did he ever tell us which Minister's Office he's been manning?

Matty never said, Aussie. He told us it was an "unnamed federal MP".

Labor? Liberal? Green? We know not.

PLEASE EXPLAIN, MATTY.
