Title: Man claiming to be prophet of islam sentenced to d
Post by Herbert on Jan 25th, 2014 at 11:17am
The insanity inspired by Islam continues into the 21st century ...

Quote:
A court in Pakistan has sentenced a British man to death for blasphemy for claiming to be a prophet of Islam.

link

The 'mental illness' lies more with those who advocate for the death penalty for blasphemy than it does with this poor deluded schizophrenic.

Unless the majority of Muslims actually participate in the execution, we must not judge them for killing a mentally ill man in the name of Islam, because he said the wrong thing. We also must not describe it as killing in the name of Islam, as people might get confused and think he blew up a shopping mall.

Precisely.

100% of the Paki public might say they agree with the sharia court's decision, but it's only those who turn up for the actual execution to chant "ALLAHU AKBAR!" who are the real Muslims.

Wait.

Have I got that right? Gandalf et al say that these types are NOT real Muslims. They don't represent TRUE Islam and its Message of Peace, Modesty, and Tolerance.

So it's the ones who Stay at Home and who don't attend the execution who are the real Muslims, even though they support sharia law and say blasphemers should face the death penalty.

It's all very confusing.

It seems that real Muslims can be described as those Muslims who are beyond criticism from a Christian point of view ... in which case we have a problem getting the likes of Gandalf to explain to us how a real Muslim differs from a real Christian.

(I have an awful premonition that G is going to solve this dilemma by vaporising our posts, freediver).

If anyone is confused by my post, it is because Gandalf split these posts off from this other thread...

http://www.ozpolitic.com/forum/YaBB.pl?num=1389655854

...about his strange claim that we should not judge Muslims by what they think (or claim to think) but by the actions of the majority - which is convenient in many situations where Muslims are prevented achieving the barbaric punishments they want to impose on people. And yes, he does appear to extend that to Muslims who support killing people in the name of Islam in some of the most brutal ways, so long as they would get other people to do the killing rather than doing it themselves.

It's a bit like a meat eater claiming to be a vegetarian because they get their meat from a butcher.

It wasn't even on the horizon. I helped Gandy put it in the dumpster.

If you told Gandalf to put it in the dumpster, then why was your post deleted Herbert.

So you posted yourself and asked gandy to delete your post?

No need to lie Herbert.

This post was about dickheads claiming to be divine people, my post was about a dickhead who did think he was divine, just like the dickhead who thought he was a prophet from islam

We wouldn't expect you to think it was about human rights and Muslims killing an innocent man.

No, the thread is about muslims and/or Islam sentencing someone to death for claiming to be divine.

Key words "muslims" and "Islam". Since its an Islam forum, topics unrelated to either of those two are irrelevant and do not belong in this forum.

You may also take this as a subtle hint to not resort to the usual lame-arse tactic muslims all too often use to answer any criticism of islam by bringing up entirely irrelevant criticisms of christianity.

And no, Herbert had nothing to do with me deleting your post.

I didn't tell Gandy to put it in the dumpster. Your post was so heavy with irrelevancies he needed someone to help carry the other end to the dumpster.

Part of corporal punishment in Islam stipulates that the person must be sane right?

Yadda posts about aussie muslims, morsi and islamic texts in my Fallujah thread, why aren't they edited?

The dumpster's full. There's no more room until after Collection Day.

That's the Extremism thread.  Maybe they need a new moderator too.  Is Gaybriel still around?
