Title: Why do Greens have no respect for the rule of law? Post by bogarde73 on Jan 28th, 2014 at 12:44pm
Countless numbers of people have fought and died over many centuries to see the rule of law firmly set as the backbone of democracy.
Yet here we have a movement with a political party at its apex which clearly has the attitude of obeying those laws which suit it and assuming the right to disregard those which don't. We have seen it time and time again over the years. They believe they have the "right" to chain themselves to anything which suits them so as to prevent others going about their lawful business. The latest example is the interfering with the shark culling activity in WA. Now I don't like to see sharks killed for no good purpose any more than anyone else. And I don't think this process is a solution to anything. But it has been decided upon by the lawfully elected govt, no doubt after taking expert opinions, and I don't see what right this offshoot of the Greens, for that is what they would be, claims for taking unlawful action. If a movement, represented by a political party, represented in the various parliaments, chooses to have its followers behave in this way, it has no fit place in political society. Have we seen any leader of the Greens caution these people against their actions? No. The Green movement is therefore nothing short of a movement outside the law, with little more to recommend itself to honest, law-abiding people than an outlaw motor cycle gang. |

Weak argument there mister.
It's like blaming conservative politicians for all white collar crime. Is it because you can't find fault with the Greens, so have to try and create something out of nothing? |

Indeed it is. The Rule of Law has zero to do with the content of the post. |

As a self-confessed fascist Green, you would obviously be committed to the overthrow of the rule of law.
Not a fascist? I remember your chilling words: "Everyone will be a policeman" |

Go have a read.....google it. You will find reference to 'equality before the law,' but nothing in your OP has anything to do with it. |

Not difficult finding fault with the greens, they hand them out like Christmas presents. Just have to see those two whinging b***hes and the other tree hugging lunes to realise that their purpose in life is to behave like idiots......as is yours. |

The disturbing and dangerous thing is that the poor sod actually believes the rubbish he churns out daily.

I thought the green outside Parliament was a rightful place for peaceful protest and I've no doubt permission was sought and given.
Quite a different thing to these Greens flouting the law whenever & wherever it does not fit in with their jaundiced view of how the world should operate. Who is going to step forward and accept responsibility if, heaven forbid, a shark attack should occur at a place where the baiting has been interfered with. I wouldn't want to have that on my conscience. |

I note a number of news reports suggesting involvement by the Australian Greens - this morning - appear to have been withdrawn Probably under the threat of legal action for libel by the Australian Greens The Greens policy on wildlife NATURALLY opposes the destruction of endangered fauna - such as the Great White Shark But so does 80% of the Australian population The Abbott Liberal Government "environment minister" gave the final OK for this attack on this endangered species Tony Bourke, as Minister for the Environment, would never have considered it |

The Greens Party are the pinnacle of all the law-breaking so-called conservation groups in the community.
They might not give the orders to remove the shark baits, but have they criticised it? Do they ever criticise or seek to use their influence to prevent the flouting of the law on occasions too numerous to cite? Of course they don't. They are quite happy for all their ratbag, closet-fascist supporters to go about their lawbreaking and civil disturbance. I repeat, I wouldn't want to have on my conscience a shark attack at a beach where baits have been tampered with. |
