Title: The pursuit of lust . . . Post by bogarde73 on Feb 19th, 2014 at 9:29am
. . .or keeping it in your pants.
The wisdom of the ages cautions us against the pursuit of lustful desires. But we do it anyway, or most of us do, I certainly have. Experience finally teaches us though that it's not worth everything. Apart from anything else, it's a thirst that is seldom slaked. So what has it cost this ex-MP, apart from $6000 a pop so we hear? His career is finished. I don't imagine any union will have him back. His family is torn apart probably, the saddest part of it all. He has to live with having ripped off all those workers who trusted him. Maybe he can. And he's facing jail time, although he'll probably appeal and may avoid that. But I expect those holier than thou on the bench will feel it is their bounden duty to make an example of him and I guess they should. We all thought there was no doubt about his guilt a long time ago, except for a certain PM. "I have complete confidence in the Member for Dobell". Justice is so slow isn't it. If there is a God, wouldn't you think he (or she or it) might have come up with a better system for procreation than one involving a drive that seems designed to get you into trouble. |

his wife must be devastated.. listening to all that would have been heart breaking...I am sure there are a lot of people who cannot live with sleaze..porn call it what you like.. ask Charlie Sheen... he is an expert on it.. I couldnt think of anything worse than living with a man who obviously loves the red light world... ::) ::).. even those girls would have a use by date I am sure.. and then he would move on..ugh....he happened to be a MP...so he is in the limelight.. but a lot of men use these places on a regular basis..so ... well there must be a lot of men .. that have that drive as you put it????.. I do know they want to extend the red light district in ACT so it is thriving.. :D :D |

Did you mean "can't live without sleaze"? That's true.
It's like chasing the rainbow but never getting there. There's a saying among blokes, but I won't repeat it here in mixed company, except to say that there is no conscience where sex is involved. |

I am astounded that any man could be so utterly foolish. I mean - what is the value of a bought woman anyway?
I'm one of those unfortunates who need to feel a 'connection' with a woman to appreciate her naked qualities properly.. and I simply cannot understand how any man could be so stupid as to purchase at huge expense a piece he could get with some real value anywhere... and especially the way this guy went about it using other people's money. How stupid can one man be? |

He's not the first and he won't EVER be the last.
Strange isn't it? I wonder is it just the sex drive or is it risk that is the driver? Anyone seen Freud lately? |

"A standing member has no conscience"....... Not entirely true.... 8-) |
Title: Re: The pursuit of lust . . . Post by bogarde73 on Feb 19th, 2014 at 10:37am
Well, I wasn't going to say it and if I had, it would have read slightly different.
Maybe it's not true, maybe it's what we tell ourselves to suppress conscience. |

Well done, sirrah - you got the double entendre! We all know what I mean - and yes - it most likely is just a salve to conscience. I can say no.. I think I did once or twice......... lemme see now .. somewhere in the back files..... not under 'Dead Enemies'.... not 'Old Vendettas In Need Of Resolution'....umm.. 'Women I Have Known'.. too general.... Ah! Here it is - 'Famous Actresses I have Slept With Without Sex!".. damn - I remember that - what a party..... drinking all night, didn't get into a fight... wonder if that invite was for something more..... always take a lady at her word.... |

No - it's not just you Herb - I've always been that way. Bit of a Quaker or something - there is a word for it.... one lass called me that once. Legacy of my German grandfather I think. ADDS:- Oh, yes - very good - if he was 'getting in touch' with his sensitive/gay/feminine side he'd be home and hosed..... Ah - here's the word - a 'Puritan' - don't get me wrong - I love women as much as any man - just not every woman.... only the ones I like and link with.... which is around 10% of applicants and those tested in the saddle.... |

Call me old fashioned, but I am one of those males who think sex without love is nothing but pure friction.
But sex with love, now that is a totally different story. |

many blessings ,
the pursuit of lust is a finite shadow of divine love in the christed light which is eternal and within all hearts and so it there remains in totalitarianism and there thus in eternal dominion so be it namaste - : ) = ॐ |

nothing "old-fashioned" about that - the word you're looking for is effeminate. As for thommo - the idiot should have just kept a mistress or 2. It would have been cheaper. |

I reckon most of you would root the hair on the Barber Shop floor. Don't be such hypocrites ...... Thompson was just a dill because he got caught out after making bad decisions. |

It's natural selection - those with more lustful desires were more likely to procreate & pass on their genes. |

;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D It's evolution 101. A man can spread his seed to as many women as possible, whereas a woman can only carry one mans baby over 9 months, so she needs to be more choosy with who that man is - thus she invents rationalizations like "sex without love is nothing but pure friction". Just where do you get off insinuating previous generations of men were as big a pussies as you? |

A man can spread his seed widely if he wishes, but it's not compulsory. I am not a "pussy" simply a man who believes in love. I am sure there are generations of men who agree with me, many who don't. Coincidentally, today is my 44th wedding anniversary. I love my wife as much as I did the day we were married. She feels the same about me. :-* :-* :-* |

Honky.. BABY!
As a 'pussy' who prefers connection with those he shags (unless in extremis) - I have played first grade and international rugby, and in many ways in this life have performed at about a Superman class... I also have a pretty large schlong... so 'effeminate' is hardly the word I'd use.... "Damn - we're idiots! The town is THAT way!" |

To be fair, this isn't the only factor I used in making that call. The passive-aggressive attitude you consistently demonstrate is also the domain of women and pussies, not men. Some friendly advice, and don't take this the wrong way - it might be time to start TRT. You'll feel better for it. |
Title: Re: The pursuit of lust . . . Post by The Grappler 2014 on Feb 21st, 2014 at 2:23pm
TRT? OOOOh - Testosterone Replacement Therapy....
There IS such a thing? Low sex drive (libido) Erectile dysfunction Fatigue and poor energy level Difficulty concentrating Depression Irritability Low sense of well-being Damn - sounds like a bad night on the booze.... |
Title: Re: The pursuit of lust . . . Post by Honky on Feb 21st, 2014 at 2:30pm
haha...growacet.
seriously, Robbie Williams has no natural testosterone at all, and that ni gga still look good with a little help from his doctor. This has been a public service announcement in the interests of better health, and the fewer girly men around, the better off we'll all be. |

True - nothing like a handful of pills to make you into the man you ain't... waste of time when you ain't man enough inside....
Society has lost sight of what a real man is.... that's why we all head off to Asia.... Man - that sort of artificially crafted body is UUUUU-G-LEE! |

We old guys are the lucky ones, young people are going to be so bugger'd up about sex, it will become a massive problem.
Kids growing up with access to the most extreme porn are going to have to assimilate that crap. You know the saying, you cannot "unsee" something? well young people are seeing stuff I am old and smart enough to know I DON'T WANT TO, they aren't, and will suffer for it. BTW, sex being always some grand love connection is BS, and EVERYONE knows that, sometimes ya just need ta get ya rox off. Sex for fun, is??? FUN!!! |
