Title: mentally ill people
Post by Taipan on Feb 24th, 2014 at 2:20pm
The lefties should not be allowed to post unless they have a notice from their psychologist that permits them to interact with sane people. Otherwise they shouldn't be allowed to participate on this forum in any capacity whatsoever.

Its for their own good. ;)

More seriously....

MORE TO THINK ABOUT;

'Normal' criminal behaviour - in mankind

Quote:
A simple definition of SANITY/INSANITY.

Typically, an unrestrained sane person will act in ways which are harmless to others, and in ways which are creative, and productive [for himself, others, and society].

And typically, and conversely, an unrestrained INSANE person will act in ways which are harmful and destructive to himself, and, or, others around him.

...just because, when people express a 'provocative' opinion, i always like to try to define the actual words which they have used to express themself with.

The 'mentally ill people' you are percieving are no doubt relfections of your own fears. Perhaps if you consider 'mental illness' as facets of the overall human character, your eyes will be opened up to a whole new reality previously hidden in plain sight.

Dear  Snakelike Personality,

You seem to have a disability with words and the interpretation of same.

Psychologist ... BA, Arts with PHD in Psychology

Psychiatrist - Medical Degree (5 years or so) plus another 3 years in Psychiatry (like ALL Specialists do in their chosen field).

A psychologist will "mentor" you in your bereavement or when you split up with your partner.  They are Listeners.

IF you have a mental problem (Bipolar etc) you need to see a PSYCHIATRIST.

Who would you rather see for your MENTAL problems? The bloke down at the pub?

Hey, Clint Eastwoods 'High Plains Drifter' was on tonight and in it he said: "It's what people know's inside of 'em that makes 'em scared"...  8-) 8-)

(Possibly paraphrased?!!?  ::))

Did you get that off a non-educational website? Seriously - you dont need an arts degree to be a psychologist and you need 6 years. This is my brothers qualifications: B.App. Psych [Hons], M.Clin.Psych. MAPS. You can see a psychologist for mental problems - the reason you would see a psychiatrist is if you need meds. Psychologists dont prescribe (@ least most dont). You can see both (and most ppl on meds do apparently). A psychologist helps you to deal with the mental illness and also pain management etc by helping you develop the skills. All a psychiatrist does is prescribe meds.

How is that, in any way, a concern of yours?
