Rather than upset some members because one of the moderators doesn't like a thread title - couldn't you move the thread into one of the member run boards?

A few of them could do with some new threads. What about the Tavern, Extremism or Relationships?

This is a suggestion only and I'm not telling Andrei what to do. If he thinks the topic is immature - he can delete it, but it would keep members happier if it was moved.

Most moderators are accused of bias. They put a lot of their own time into the job and occasionally have to make unpopular snap decisions. It would be hard to please everyone.

I do think the thread on Michelle Obama being a man is stupid, and yet its still there ... same with the thread suggesting Morrison is a real man ... the thread on Warne, the thread on Chemtrails

Ok in the interests of information, I'll explain a tad more.

The thread about Barack Obama's wife was based upon a published web article - with the link given.
Now people can find it absurd and the usual conspiracy nonsense - such as whether he was born in the United States or Kenya etc - again another nonsense subject but is prevalent in material on the net.

Spot, put up a picture of Tony Abbott's wife and wrote - this is a man.

No link, no story - basically the behaviour of a 12 year old and not something you'd expect from a grown man.
Now the first is also stupid but is based on a discussion of a story on the internet.
The other is basically spamming.

That's the basis of the removal of one and not the other.
